Cons: MAERGO failed to perform satisfactory delivery service.
The merchandise was left by the door on 08/25/2023 at 6 PM. I was at home waiting for the delivery. Delivery person did not ring the bell to notify about delivery. At 7:30 PM I found the open empty box in the lobby. This never happened before with other delivery companies.
I contacted the merchant (Saks Fifth Avenue) with the request to replace the merchandise. I was advised to ask MAERGO to change the status of delivery to incomplete to be able issue the replacement. I filed the request #146860 with MAERGO asking to do it, but my request was denied.
I believe the delivery without notification is a failed delivery. Easy notification by ringing the bell should be mandatory for any reliable delivery company.
As a result, I had to buy the same item again (which was $224 gift for my daughter) from Bloomingdale in the store.
I will do my best to avoid using MAERGO as delivery carrier in the future.Overall: Very unsatisfactory. MAERGO failed to perform satisfactory delivery service.
