Pros: The Enterprise tool is great and has all what I expected in a copy tool. The tool is fast while sending files between clouds and easy to implement.
I am impressed by the feature of limiting the transfers speed too🙂Cons: The trial tool is not enough to judge the full featured tool , but I am lucky the Enterprise edition was great

"Migrate data to Panzura" Posted 2025-12-15
Pros: Unlike Robocopy, GS RichCopy uses true multi-threading, distributing the workload across all available CPU cores. This keeps write speeds consistently high even when the Panzura (or similar) cache is saturating, as it pushes data in parallel without overwhelming the filer's single-stream limitations.
The GUI is intuitive for setting up jobs, and the logging/email notifications provide real-time visibility without constant monitoring. Compared to scripting complex Robocopy flags or dealing with its limitations over WAN-like conditions (high latency to the cloud backend), GS RichCopy 360 delivered 3-5x faster effective throughput in cache-constrained scenarios.Cons: The tool is designed exclusively for the Windows platform. In a mixed environment (Windows, Linux, macOS), you would need a separate, non GUI solution (like rsync or a cross-platform tool) for the non-Windows endpoints.
Overall: Using Robocopy to seed data into a cloud-caching filer, only to watch performance grind to a halt once the local appliance cache fills up. The filer starts throttling writes as it uploads to the cloud backend, and Robocopy ,being single-threaded by default and not optimized for this scenario—crawls to unacceptable speeds, forcing constant monitoring and manual restarts.

"Xcopy alternative" Posted 2025-10-07
Pros: I really love it , it can include and exclude files without any hassle and it can copy files with specific extensions easily .
It can copy files to sharepoint in few steps .Cons: may be the design but overall it is gold and deserves respect
Overall: I was searching for an alternative to Xcopy , what I really need is the exact opposite functionality: a switch or option that copies everything except files that already exist in the destination folder ,in other words, it should skip copying any file that is already present at the destination.

"Excellent backup and sync tool" Posted 2025-03-23
Pros: I had it installed and running my first backup to an external drive in under ten minutes. The interface feels welcoming, with a clear layout that doesn’t overwhelm you with options right off the bat. I set up a schedule to sync my project folders to OneDrive and mirror my photo library to a NAS, and it’s been running like clockwork ever since.
I’ve thrown some curveballs at it, like deeply nested folders and files with weirdly long names, and it hasn’t skipped a beat. There’s even an option to throttle bandwidth, which came in handy when I didn’t want it hogging my connection during a video call. The logs are detailed too, so I can see exactly what’s been copied or skipped, which gives me confidence that nothing’s slipping through the cracks.Cons: The trial version is significantly restricted, which can hinder thorough evaluation before purchase.
Overall: I’ve been using GS RichCopy 360 for a few months now, and it’s quickly become my legend for keeping my files safe and in sync. As someone who works with a mix of personal photos, work documents, and large media files, I needed something robust yet simple to manage my backups across multiple destinations. This tool has been a breath of fresh air, delivering everything I hoped for with a few delightful surprises along the way.

"Fast, Safe and Easy to use Copy tool" Posted 2025-03-04
Pros: Thanks to its clever use of multi-threading, it taps into your system’s full potential, splitting transfers across multiple cores like a well-orchestrated symphony. Moving a 50GB folder of high-res photos and documents to an external drive used to be a lunch-break-long ordeal with Windows Explorer. With GS RichCopy 360, it’s done before I can finish my coffee. It’s not just fast . it’s consistently fast, even with complex folder structures or spotty network connections.
The interface is sleek yet simple, cutting through the usual tech clutter. Pick your source, choose your destination, tweak a few options if you’re feeling fancy (like scheduling or filtering), and you’re off. I set up an automatic sync for my work files in under five minutes, and now it runs quietly in the background like a trusty assistant.Cons: GS RichCopy 360 lacks native support for Linux or macOS. In environments with mixed operating systems, this restricts its versatility, forcing users to seek additional tools or workarounds for non-Windows systems.
Overall: GS RichCopy 360 Enterprise is a standout solution that’s fast, safe, and so easy to use it’s almost unfair to compare it to the competition. After putting it through its paces, I can confidently say it’s reshaped how I handle everything from daily backups to massive migrations.
