    "Free POS system for restaurant / bar / lounge. "

    Pros: Free! Does not cost a dime to set up.
    Easy to setup, there is a lot of support online from the community.
    Open source.
    Compatible with most systems.

    Cons: Yes it is a free open source software, and it will lack in certain integrations such as credit card / debit processing but it will work wonders for a small start up restaurant / bar. We does not have a fancy layout but it is very customizable to have it the way you want it.

    Overall: We are a non chain / non franchise restaurant and we have been using the Floreant POS system since we have switched over from being a franchise restaurant. It was pretty easy to setup the entire system scratch. We were able to use our old pos system to load Floreant POS and had no issues. It will lack in back office integration but it does work for our use. We highly recommend it.
