Expedience Software

Pros: Ease of installation; ease of use; simple and intuitive library building and organizing; ease of editing/updating content and library structure quickly; ability to share/review content across others in the organization without license/training in software; flexible search options with quality results; ease of incorporation into live RFP documents; flexibility to customize to suit our business and how we work; quality and reliability of software performance; outstanding client service and support team; quick and accurate response to questions/issues.

Cons: Lack of date field in search results; support site doesn't provide easy answers to questions, too many options with links to videos that aren't relevant

Overall: 100% positive! I've used many RFP software options in my career and Expedience is by far the best I've used. It clearly has been designed by people who have done RFPs and know what we need. Using Expedience has greatly increased my productivity and speed, for responding to RFPs, creating proposals, and updating content. As a proposal team of one, I am able to keep up with our company's volume and diverse business because of Expedience. I have recommended it to all of my RFP colleagues and have been singing its praises since implementing it 3 years ago!

Pros: -I love how it stores all of our approved answers in an easy-to-use database
-I love how easy it is to update responses
-I love how I can grab the approved response directly in my Word doc
-I love how the formatting is already set up: My finished products always look so clean and presentable, without extra work!
-I love the reporting feature, and how I can easily download and send marked-up Word docs to managers to review
- the Customer service is the BEST

Cons: The set-up process was a little tricky, and if I ever break something, I won't intuitively know how to fix the problem. But the customer service is amazing and someone will always help me immediately.

Overall: This tool has streamlined my RFP and DDQ process so much! The more I use the tool, the better it gets, too!

Pros: Expedience is flexible, saves time, and ensures consistent formatting for all our proposals. By streamlining the proposal creation process, Expedience allows our team to quickly assemble documents that adhere to standard templates, minimizing manual errors and improving overall efficiency. As a result, we are able to respond to government requirements promptly while maintaining the professional appearance and structure that evaluators expect. This consistency not only enhances our credibility but also helps us manage multiple submissions with greater ease and accuracy.

Cons: Auto-inserts unwanted text when typing, which can disrupt your workflow and lead to errors or inconsistencies in your document. This issue may require you to spend additional time correcting or deleting unnecessary content, ultimately reducing productivity and causing frustration for users who expect a smooth typing experience.

Overall: Expedience significantly streamlines my work process by automating many of the setup tasks that would otherwise require considerable time and effort. As a result, I am able to concentrate fully on developing and refining the actual content of my proposals, ensuring higher quality and greater accuracy. This efficiency allows me to meet tight deadlines with confidence, knowing that the technical aspects of proposal preparation are managed smoothly.

Pros: Expedience has been a tremendous asset to our team. Because it works directly within Microsoft Word, we can keep our existing workflows without learning a new interface. Our subject matter experts can easily contribute without worrying about the full library’s organization, which they truly appreciate.
We also love seeing the final output as we go—no more waiting until the end and spending days reformatting. Hosting it on our own location gives us peace of mind, knowing we’re not dependent on outside companies’ security policies or outages.
Another key benefit is the ability to serve as gatekeepers for our content library. We can prevent duplicates or overwrites, keeping our content clean and reliable over the long term.

Cons: The only con is that authors need a solid understanding of Word before diving in. A bit of advanced Word training goes a long way and makes deploying Expedience even more effective.

Overall: Overall, Expedience combines ease of use, control, and reliability in a way that makes our proposal process smoother, faster, and more secure.
