Pros: Easy to use. Every organization has their own way of doing things and ClinCapture is very flexible in helping with solutions.

Cons: Would like better report functionality. Captivate Reports was a good upgrade but the only other option for detailed data is to download all the data and farm through it. In fairness a few other EDC systems do not have specific data point reporting either.

Overall: Great team to work with, very responsive. I heard the pricing was less than a lot of other EDC systems.

Pros: Captivate offers an incredibly easy to use drop and drop interface for form, event, and rule design. The import option of csv is great. The support team is very friendly and responsive.

Cons: The lack of admin user account control and no SMS capability for administering ePro surveys.

Overall: Overall, I've been pleased with the ClinCapture EDC, the sales, and the support team. The attention to customer feedback and regular update releases show they care about offering the best product possible.

Pros: Support staff is very quick, responsive, and provides detailed solutions. The EDC software also has many features. I did not get a chance to try out all the features due to my company's smaller and simpler studies. If you need a great EDC system with many features, and a responsive support team, go with ClinCapture!

Cons: What I didn't enjoy as much with ClinCapture is designing the study database. Although there was plenty of features and customization, it was not as intuitive as I would have liked. I have also received a few minor complaints from sites that they found it slightly difficult to navigate and enter data.

Overall: My overall experience with ClinCapture has been quite positive. I have been using ClinCapture for over 4 years now and have been very happy with the system and support staff. The issues I mentioned were minor occurrences, and I would recommend ClinCapture to those in need of a detailed EDC software.

Pros: Feature rich 21 CFR Part 11 compliant EDC at a reasonable price. Intuitive user interface and excellent technical support. ClinCapture's products, including eConsent, appear to be evolving and improving quite quickly.

Cons: There were a few features we wanted that the vendor was still working on, at least one of which was implemented during our set up.

Overall: First time using this EDC after many years using others. I have watched this company develop and improve this platform over the last 5 years and our medical device company has selected it to support and FDA-mandated post-market study for a recently-approved class III device. We have worked directly with their technical support staff during startup to implement a number of features unique to our study e.g., data pushes to the EDC and data transfers out for a number of specific purposes.
