Contractor Foreman

Pros: It's a great app, it's user-friendly, nice design of the app, and the customer support is super responsive.

Cons: They have tricky policies, you really have to pay attention and read them.

Overall: Support is super responsive, I was on a Free Trial looking for the features for a customer, but I couldn't make it on time to cancel the free trial and then I got charged, I connected with them the same night that I got charged(around 30 minutes after), and they gave me the refund immediately, but I didn't read the policies, so they charge you a fee of 100USD as a penalty(I think now they just don't give refunds), I know they're a small company, but when you see a small company charging this kind of fees at their stage(they've been in business for more than 5 years), something's wrong.

Pros: Ease of use and customization to fit your individual needs. Recommendations are always taken into consideration and if they cannot, they let you know why. Very friendly and easy to work with. We don't know what we would be doing without it.

Cons: Can't think of anything I don't like about the program. There are so many features available and the ease of customization, I cannot say anything bad about the program.

Overall: Best system on the market at a value that you can't beat. I cannot think of anything that this system cannot do.

Pros: i liked most of the features that CF provided , easy deal with it on daily basis, loved how it's enhanced every month.

Cons: The proposal template and limited feature of adding contact details.

Overall: Love it a lot, our department is moving from other software to CF which all FOS company get trained to use it.

Cons: Mobile App, it can be slow loading job information.

Overall: I love how organized this app keeps my company. We are able to track all job information in one place. No more sorting through paperwork and wasting time searching. This app does job costing, invoicing, and so much more.

Pros: All the basics and many of the extended features needed for construction management at a fantastic price.

Cons: Reporting is lacking. Interface feels like early 2000's software.

Overall: Overall I am quite pleased with the system, and I look forward to enhancements coming out every month. We will definitely renew at the end of our subscription.

Pros: The best part of Contractor Foreman is the outstanding customer service. They are always responsive, polite, and helpful.

Cons: Document management was my least favorite. Uploading was clunky, organizing was impossible, and there was no option to batch delete.

Overall: My overall experience with Contractor Foreman was good. It ended up not being the solution to our unique situation, but it had nothing to do with the quality of the software.

Pros: Job costing feature has been great and easy to understand and implement. It also integrates well with our accounting software.

Cons: Estimating module is not customizable ad doesn't work at all for us.

Overall: Great program and has helped us find and fix a lot of flaws in our procedures. We were able to increase productivity and accuracy.

Pros: Photo sharing and daily logs are a great way to show daily progress on a job site. It also helps someone else coming in behind that day's work see the progress and know what they are getting into before they arrive. The time card feature is also very helpful.

Cons: There is an integration learning curve to working your way around the software. There are tutorial videos throughout to show you what to do but it is not intuitive.

Overall: CF has helped get our whole team on the same page. We share receipts, photos of projects, and other useful information all in the same location. Before we were using text threads back and forth and it wasn't very effective.

Pros: Team communication.

Cons: We need an exchange rate option to enter costs in colones (our local currency) and manage balances in dollars.

Overall: It has made our workflow better!

Pros: This app has made it really easy to communicate with guys in the field without bothering them. It has replaced a lot of paper documents reducing waste and making everything available.

Cons: The only problem we are having is you can't use offline.

Overall: Overall I enjoy working with this program, they fix bugs almost every month which helps. They take really good feedback on bugs.

Pros: Ease of use.

Is a fully comprehensive system for your construction company. Has more features than Builder Trend (Who we came from) Procore (Who we considered before selecting) and others we researched prior to selecting Contractor Foreman.

Cons: Estimate system is a bit laggy sometimes.
System education takes some times and videos don't give enough details. But you can get customized help group or individual which is much more helpful.

Overall: It's so comprehensive and covers everything any small to midsized construction company would need. It takes few months to fully adaptively use but if your committed it will be worth the switch.

Pros: Contractor Foreman helped my team streamline projects, improve communications between team members, clients, and sub contractors, and helped us to better track financial costs.

Cons: I haven't really had anything I didn't like but the few issues I did have were resolved right away by customer support.

Overall: Contractor Foreman is an affordable solution to project tracking for all our needs. It is easy to use and the trainings are readily available, customer support is quick and efficient.

Pros: I love the leads, estimates, projects, daily logs, and QuickBooks integration! It is an all in one management system!

Cons: I didn’t like the scheduling features. I thought they were clunky compared to other software.

Overall: Overall a wonderful experience with great customer service and affordable prices! I highly recommend it!

Cons: Think the weakest feature at this point is the scheduling application and that it can not be controlled from the mobile app - they have said they are working on it and hopefully that is true.

Overall: Experience has been very positive. It can be deployed basically immediately on a limited basis without any training. The video tutorials or guided training is available to expand use.

Overall, this software does the job for small contractors, and there are no other software's available at this price range.

Cons: -No module customizability
-Not enough interface customizability
-Not enough template customizability
-Poor document storage

Overall: Been using Contractor Foreman for a few months now and so far me and my team have been happy with this software and its support team. Prior to choosing CF, we looked at a series of different software's, and no other software in the market was the same or even close to the price of CF. Although the alternative software's in the market have many more advanced features than CF, they were also extremely expensive. One major thing we like about CF, is the number of users they offer with all plans rather than being "pay per user". CF offers all the construction management tools you need, although I wish there was more customizability within, however, it does get the job done right. If your a larger contractor (15M+) then you might want to look at alternatives to CF as it may be too small of a software for large volume contracts. However, I highly recommend CF for smaller contractors and specialty trades, as there is no other software in the market which provides these features at this value. (Trust me I looked at all options).

Pros: Very easy to navigate and keep track of jobs that are active pending or finished uploading pictures is easy.

Cons: At first it can be hard to navigate but becomes easier.

Overall: Overall the product is very helpful both in the office and in the field job and time tracking is very helpful.

Pros: Have only been into this software for a few weeks but have already convinced my owner to put this software into service.
The modules or set up for you to pick and chose which ones will be relevant to your company. Videos or great to explain each module you or in. At this time we or in the process of renovating many homes damaged during Hurricane Laura in Lake Charles La and this software is going to make our ability to follow these jobs a lot better.

Cons: Have not seen many cons about this software the short time I have been in it.

Overall: My time in this software has been short, but from what I have seen it will be a great tool. Training with the videos has been easy and very informing.
Support is only a click away.

Pros: I have been searching for software that not only had accounting but also mobile access and project management items as well. So far although still learning the software this is the one for our company. Having to track multiple projects at a time as well as a ton of other factors this has made things a lot easier during a busy time.

Cons: I am struggling a little with the Bills and Expenses because of the way we invoice and bill out otherwise I think the other items work themselves out and its just about learning the software.

Overall: I love the instant chat feature and the hands-on of the reps as well as the videos and all the training available. Just think the training times should have some more options and evening trainings due to the work schedule, I hope that we end up using Contractor Foreman long term.

Pros: The timecards with GPS and the change orders are the best features for our business. Overall the system is pretty convenient to use.

Cons: It is a pretty nice system; overall there is not much to complain about.

Overall: Contractor Foreman is an all-in-one project management program. You can handle proposals, change orders, time sheets, daily logs, etc and is the best value compared to the other programs we found available.

Pros: Our company has fully migrated our operations to CF over the past few months. It has been a great organizational tool to manage all of our ongoing projects. The best part about CF is their support team, and they are always available to assist and answer your questions about the number of features.

Cons: With the constant development of the software, we run into issues every once in a while with existing features. But a quick message to the support team, they get it fixed quickly.

Overall: Overall, this software is the best priced and most functional project management software we have found. We are happy with its performance so far.
