    "VLC alternative - simple media player"

    Pros: Support wider formats than VLC
    Free to use
    Conversion tool is great, with device presets and metadata editor

    Cons: Need to pay to unlock conversion
    Weak library management

    Overall: The player handles all my video formats. And in order to convert video files to mp4 for better playback, I've upgraded to get the converter tool. The one-time cost worth it for me.
