Charityproud

Pros: User friendly, intuitive, nice looking interface, good product for the value, excellent customer service, willingness to make changes to functionality if it helps the greater good, easy to process donations and acknowledgement letters.

Cons: Soft credits are an ongoing issue with reporting, but to the credit of Charityproud, they have continued to improve functionality, but need to ensure that all reports include soft credits to attract mid-level and large nonprofits. Sometimes the character limit in notes is not enough. Search function can be limiting (e.g., need exact spelling; if spouse has same last name as the primary record holder, they won't show up in search). Cannot make global changes

Overall: Overall, Charityproud is a nice product for the price and the President, engineers, and customer service reps go out of their way to ensure a successful user experience. There are some great canned reports and options to get creative with compound reports, but soft-credits need to be integrated into all reports. Easy, clean interface.

Pros: We have been Charityproud clients for a couple of years now; and are so fortunate to have a consistent and superior Client Account Manager. She provides exceptional service and is professional and friendly.

Cons: We have had only a very few glitches with the system when performing data imports.

Overall: I like the ease of scheduling a client support call; and the smaller organization provides efficient and timely service.

-each page is customizable so we can show our true selves
-picture/video embedding allows us to engage our donors
-it has a wide range of features and is a one-stop shop for all things donor relations - we can plan events, send emails, and keep track of grants in one place!

Cons: -does not include mobile wallets - Venmo and Paypal - for donations

Overall: We have loved CharityProud. It makes fundraising easy and allows us to show our true selves by the easy embedding of videos and pictures! It has made our lives much easier and has kept our nonprofit much more organized as we balance the million things going on from a donor standpoint. There's also so much functionality in the platform so we can tailor it to exactly what our organization needs.

-Willingness to HEAR your issues and provide TRUE solutions vs workarounds.
-Integration with other systems (Square Space / Stripe / Quickbooks / Text2Give / etc.)
-Simple and clean platform.

Cons: N/A - we are very pleased with all aspects of the platform and more importantly SERVICE.

Overall: We are very pleased with Charityproud. Their customer service is second to none. It is very customizable without being overly complicated. Works well with other systems to create seamless integration.

As a single employee organization - TIME is the most valuable resource and they do a great job of allowing a robust program that completes many features without drudging and being overly complicated.
