...It is written in Ada, so can be rebuilt on any platform with an Ada compiler. The input wav file must be monaural, with a 16-bit signed integer encoding, and a sample rate of 8000 Hz. Either sox or audacity can easily transform to this format. The wav file is expected to be international morse code, preferrably clean and properly spaced. Tonal frequency or wpm-speed does not seem to matter. Now includes an inverse commandline app, txt2wav that creates a morse code WAV file from English text. The proper command to extract the archive and maintain the directory structure is "7z x filename". -

The plugin is a combination of two libraries - SSRC and SOX, the first one is fixed, and the other is floating point. The main purpose is to "override" the LPF(s) inside of the DAC by upsampling (relatively) low sampling rate frequencies (44.1k, 48k), assuming the software can do it much more accurate. I often uses "Sox" application to play or record audio from multiple sound cards. When record/play audio file, "sox" require the audio device ID to select which device to play/record. E.g. "sox -r 8000 -c 1 -t waveaudio 1 abc.wav" -->Record audio via device ID=1. This ID cannot be identify via application in control panel. Thus, I write this application to support for this purpose. -
