pmacct is a small set of multi-purpose passive network monitoring tools. It can account for, classify, aggregate, replicate, and export forwarding-plane data, ie. IPv4 and IPv6 traffic; collect and correlate control-plane data via BGP and BMP; collect and correlate RPKI data; collect infrastructure data via Streaming Telemetry. Each component works both as a standalone daemon and as a thread of execution for correlation purposes (ie. enriching NetFlow with BGP data).

...nfdump is a set of tools to collect and process netflow data. It's fast and has a powerful filter pcap like syntax. It supports netflow versions v1, v5, v7, v9 and IPFIX as well as a limited set of sflow. It includes support for CISCO ASA (NSEL) and CISCO NAT (NEL) devices, which export event logging records as v9 flows. nfdump is fully IPv6 compatible.

This is a free netflow and sflow analysis project. It could be installed at Google App or PC. In the future it will provide different template report for analysis of netflow and sflow. Of course , it will support abnormal alert with email or IM.

LibsFlow is an open source library for parsing sFlow, a flow export protocol used on routers and switches to conduct external traffic analysis. Also available is an example collector daemon which does simple analysis, and exports data via rrdtool.
