This is a research project to possible improve compression using LZ77, LZSS or bwt, bwt is used on the bzip2 compression library, the v28 from 04/dec/2022 is the first version to almost beat lzma, indeed it is a tweak of lzma, the decoder for v28 will follow in a few days

cross platform levelpacker for modern operating systems
wcrush aka Crush for Windows was developed as a replacement for Taboo's crush.exe levelpacker, a cross platform tool allowing the use of faster PCs to compress Commodore 64 executables, which unfortunately doesn't work on modern Windows incarnations as e.g. Win8.1 64 bit due to its age. wcrush should work on all Windows versions since 98SE and can possibly be compiled to work under Linux and whatnot, too. -

ComprLib is a library providing a flexible and easy to use interface for encoding and decoding of data, independent of the input and output sources. New codecs able to encode/decode Arithmetic to LZSS have been ported.
