This C implementation of plugin works much faster than scripting languages analogues (perl or bash). IT checks operation of the EIGRP protocol and displays a list of current neighbors. Plugin retrun standard exit codes for nagios: CRITICAL if router has lost neighbors; WARNING if number of neighbors has changed; OK if number of neighbors matches to the given "-n" value; UNKNOWN if some errors occurs in SNMP protocol. snmpAdaptor4j is an adaptor for Java Management eXtensions (JMX) providing a simple access to MBeans via the SNMP protocol. This Nagios plugin estimates the TCP traffic performance degradation from coarse link utilization traces, such as those obtainable by SNMP. TCP adapts its transmission rate to the available bandwidth and the performance is degraded before achieving the 100% link occupancy.
