RefDB is a reference database and bibliography tool for SGML, XML, and LaTeX documents, sort of a Reference Manager or BibTeX for markup languages. It is portable and known to run on Linux, Free/NetBSD, OSX, Solaris, and Windows/Cygwin.

Bibtool is a simple curses-based editor for BibTeX bibliography files, especially useful for those who have to maintain a large number of references for a major piece of documentation, like a PhD thesis. The name 'bibtool' was already in use by another project. To avoid confusion this project has been renamed 'bibcursed' for further development. There will be no further updates to bibtool, and you should start using Bibcursed instead (also hosted on Sourceforge).

Midea is a robust c string api set with regex support, handling fixed width 8 to 64 bit character sets at runtime (no recompilation is required). Initialization routines convert multibyte encodings such as utf8.

HindiDict creates a Latex formatted Hindi dictionary from a text file. The entries will be sorted both by Hindi and by English.
