TeXnicCenter is a LaTeX editor on Windows. Navigating LaTeX documents is simple due to the automatically created document outline. Errors of the LaTeX compilation can be reviewed instantly. TXC features autocompletion and comes with LaTeX templates.

An implementation of DSSSL, a style language to format SGML or XML documents. OpenJade contains backends for various formats (RTF, HTML, TeX, MIF, SGML2SGML, and FOT). This project also maintains OpenSP.

LaTeXDraw is a graphical drawing editor for LaTeX. LaTeXDraw can be used to 1) generate PSTricks code; 2) directly create PDF or PS pictures.

JabRef is a graphical application for managing bibliographical databases. JabRef is designed specifically for BibTeX bases, but can import and export many other bibliographic formats. JabRef runs on all platforms and requires Java 1.8 or newer.

KOMA-Script provides drop-in replacements for the LaTeX standard classes article, report, and book. These KOMA-Script classes scrartcl, scrreprt, and scrbook are much more configurable than the standard classes. Additionally, KOMA-Script provides a completely new designed letter class that is also very versatil. Predefined setting (letter class options) are available, e.g., for German letters, US-American letters, Swiss letters, French letters, and Japanese letters. jPicEdt is an extensible internationalized vector-based drawing editor for LaTeX and related packages (TikZ, PsTricks,...), written in Java. It is also a library of reusable high-level graphic primitives.

DragMath is a drag and drop equation editor in the form of a Java applet. Once an expression is created the user can convert it into a variety of different linear syntax for mathematics, including MathML, LaTeX, Maple, Maxima or any user defined style. SBML2LATEX is a tool to convert files in the System Biology Markup Language SBML) format into LATEX files. A convenient online version is available, which allows the user to directly generate report from SBML in form of PDF or TeX, which can be further processed to various file types including DVI, PS, EPS, GIF, JPG, or PNG. SBML2LATEX can also be downloaded and used locally in batch mode or interactively with its Graphical User Interface or several command line options. The purpose of SBML2LATEX is to provide a way to read the contents of XML-based SBML files. This is helpful and important for, e.g., error detection, proofreading and model communication.

An alternative viewer for TeX DVI files, which I started in 1992 for the ATARI TOS. Therefore it is really fast, despite being able to handle eps files via ghostscript.

ZML, the Zeitung Markup Language, is a simple CMS for small newspapers. It was specifically designed to publish a student newspaper in print and on the Web. It uses LaTeX and XHTML. So far, it is documented in German only.

Biblatex-dw is a small collection of styles for the LaTeX package biblatex. It was designed for citations in the humanities and offers some features that are not provided by the standard biblatex styles. Biblatex-dw is dependent on biblatex and cannot be used without it.
