Currently, three types of charts are supported: Message Sequence Charts, generic Graphs, and Block Diagrams, with more to be added in the future. There is a command-line version for Linux and Mac (replacing mscgen), which now sports a GUI, as well. Msc-generator allows fine control over the appearance and has a rich feature set complete with detailed documentation. On Windows, you can embed the charts in a document or presentation and simply double-click it in Office to edit them. On Linux and the Mac, a command-line version is available, and a GUI, as well. A .deb package is available starting from Debian Bookworm (currently testing) and Ubuntu Jammy Jellyfish (22.04) from the official repositories. For older releases see the Wiki. Proof of concept project to investigate the potential to generate Flex forms from a dynamic (possibly externalised) source to cut development time building common form functionality. I've previously used 'control' classes to allow non technical users to configure form validation parameters in an external XML file, however the form & model still required development time. As an extension of the form class to function more like a SkinnableDataComponent the form items become 'ItemRenderers' containing typical inputs. Bi-directional binding is maintained by introducing a DynamicModel class which is also capable of tracking dirtied fields & performing validation.

WiiGesture is a library to add gestural interaction in web-applications that are based on Adobe Flash/Flex/Air. Therefore it uses the WiiFlash service (http://wiiflash.bytearray.org/?page_id=50) to retrieve the sensor data and an internal algorithm based on template matching recognizes performed gestures in real-time. For easier gesture training, a so called WiiGesture-Learning desktop tool was developed that automatically generates gesture templates by performing gestures with at least one repetition. The result is an XML file that can be exported and included in the WiiGesture-API so that trained gestures are known to the API. For research purposes also an analysis tool was developed to compare gestures from different participants/users. We used it to identify intuitive gestures from users for certain commands. The entire work was part of my diploma thesis I wrote in 2008 at Fraunhofer IGD. The gesture recognition API was included in a number of example scenarios.
