It implements international standards (e.g. ISO19115/19139/19119, ISO19115-3, DCAT-AP, CSW 2.0, OGC API Records). It originates from the United Nations and is used by many governments as geoportal software. Active development and discussion takes place on GitHub and OSGeo Discourse. phpMyAdmin is a tool written in PHP intended to handle the administration of MySQL over the Web. Currently it can create and drop databases, create/drop/alter tables, delete/edit/add columns, execute any SQL statement, manage indexes on columns.
