    CollimationCircles

    CollimationCircles

Collimation Circles, app for easy telescope collimation

This program was inspired by Mire De Collimation program written by Gilbert Grillot and Al's Collimation Aid. I combined best features of both and addes some of my own. Purpose of this program is not to reinvent the wheel, but rather to learn new technologies, become better at colimating my telescope and to learn something new. Main purpose of this program is to help you with aligning optical elements of your telescope such as secondary mirror, primary mirror, focuser, etc. Collimation Circles is developed with .NET 7 and AvaloniaUI Framework using MVVM architecture patern. Program was tested on Windows 10 and 11, Ununtu Linux 22.04.1 LTS (Wayland) and Raspberry PI OS Bullseye. I'm not able to test it on macOS, but it should work. Suggestions and contributions are welcome!

    MAME4ALL-Pi

    MAME emulator for Raspberry Pi

This is a MAME Raspberry Pi port based on Franxis MAME4ALL which is itself based on the MAME 0.37b5 emulator by Nicola Salmoria. This version emulates 2270 different 0.375b5 romsets. Although this is an old version of MAME it plays much faster than the newer versions and as the Pi is rather CPU underpowered it was chosen to get as many games working at full speed as possible (full speed means 100% with no frame skip). It also plays most of the games I'm interested in playing! Source code moved to github https://github.com/squidrpi/mame4all-pi

    Metal detector based on RP2040

    Metal detector based on RP2040

Pulse induction metal detector using Raspberry Pi Pico board ( RP2040)

Based on Raspberry Pi Pico board, this metal detector is included in pulse induction metal detectors category, with well known advantages and disadvantages. RPi Pico generate 3,3v amplitude pulses at one of GPIO pins. This pulses are amplified and applied to a MOSFET device that had the searching coil in series with drain. The pulse will produce a magnetic field generated by the searching coil, and becose of eddy currents, the target will produce a very low corresponding voltage at the coil terminals. The mode this signal decay depends of target characteristics ( form, type, material ) and the distance. This is the signal we need to analyze, so it is supressed by two antiparallel diodes and passed to an operational amplifier . After amplification, the analog signal is read by one of analog input of Raspberry Pi Pico board and is analized by the software. This poccess is repeatedly for many times per second.

FedEX Rpi5 for Raspberry Pi 5 and 4

FedEX Rpi5 for Raspberry Pi 5 and 4

FedEX (Fedora 43) Rpi5 for Raspberry Pi 5 and 4

FedEX Rpi5 for Raspberry Pi 5 and 4 is a "remaster" of the Fedora Project's Fedora 43 build for ARM64 (aarch64). ABOUT FedEX Rpi5 uses the Gnome 49 Desktop. (As the original system does). The original Fedora 43 system can only run a Raspberry 4 computer. You may be able to start it on a Rpi5, but you can't make the keyboard and mouse work. My Build works very well on a Rpi5 though. You can also run FedEX Rpi5 on a Rpi4 computer. Your Raspberry Pi computer will automatically choose the correct kernel. PERFORMANCE The system is quite fast and responsive. All included applications work very well. WHO SHOULD RUN FedEX Rpi5/Fedora 43 for Raspberry Pi 5 and 4? My answer: The system fits the “advanced” Linux user/enthusiast. Debian PIXEL

    Debian PIXEL

A remix of the Raspberry Pi Foundation PIXEL image with Refracta Tools

Run Raspberry Pi Debian 12 PIXEL Desktop on a PC or Mac – an Exton modified Build 251019 with Refracta Snapshot included. REFRACTA SNAPSHOT IS PRE-INSTALLED This means that you can easily install the system to hard drive and you can just as easily make it your own remix of the Raspberry Pi Foundation PIXEL image. Study all included packages: https://exton.se/debian-pixel/debian-raspberrypi-pixel-installed-packages-251019.txt I’ve added a few packages. Most important Synaptic, which I find essential. VIRTUALBOX and VMware My build/image works very well in VirtualBox and VMware. I.e. you can run the system directly from the ISO file and also install it to a virtual hard drive. You can of course also make your own Debian system with the the PIXEL Desktop using Refracta Snapshot. KERNEL Kernel 6.8.1-pae-exton is used. PAE (Physical Address Extension) increases the physical memory addressable by the system from 4 GB to 64 GB. READ MORE: https://www.exton.se/
