Amine is an Artificial Intelligence Multi-Layer Java Open Source Platform dedicated to the development of various kinds of Intelligent Systems and Agents (Knowledge-Based, Ontology-Based, Conceptual Graph -CG- Based, NLP, Reasoning and Learning, Natural Language Processing, etc.). Ontology, KB can be created and manipulated with various processes. CG theory is used as the main knowledge representation language. Amine provides two languages: PROLOG+CG which extends PROLOG with CG and Amine modules, and SYNERGY which is a visual activation/propagation based language. Linguistic Tree Constructor (LTC) is a tool for drawing lingusitic syntax trees of already-existing text. It is a syntax editor, not a text editor, so the text has to exist already. It is best suited for large-scale, rapid creation of hand-annotated treebanks. The user can define their own node categories, and can label each node with labels, also definable by the user. LTC supports "generic", X-Bar and RRG trees. Supports interlinear texts in SIL SFM format.

Flora-2 is a powerful knowledge representation and reasoning system designed for building knowledge-intensive applications. It is based on F-logic, HiLog, Transaction Logic, and also supports defeasible reasoning. Applications include intelligent agents, Semantic Web, ontology management, and more. ConceptBase.cc is a multi-user deductive and object-oriented database system for metamodeling and method engineering. Includes a graphical client that builds upon the logic-based features of the ConceptBase.cc server. The data model is O-Telos. ConceptBase.cc can represent information at the data level (example data, traces of process executions etc.), the class level (schemas, process definitions etc.), the metaclass level (constructs of modeling languages), the meta-metaclass level (constructs for defining modeling languages), and so forth. ConceptBase.cc is developed by the ConceptBase Team at University of Skövde (HIS). ConceptBase.cc supports Linux, Mac OS X and Windows. This project objective is realizing the design, development and implementation of a web application which works as a university planner. The objective was that the system could be installed specifically in the user university and run through the web browser as a local page or having the possibility of installing it in a university server (could be in any site, no need to be in the user university) so through the browser and an internet connection it could be used from anywhere (mainly in developing countries which is the target of the project). The project was initially thought for the Ngozi university in Burundi, so it tries to fulfill the requirements from that university, but the design is as open as it could be so it can be adapted to work on other universities.
