KeyTouch makes it possible to easily configure the extra function keys (like multimedia keys) of your keyboard. You can define which program will be executed while pressing a key. KeyTouch 2 is the first program of its kind that works on kernel 2.6.

This is a library for easy accessing chip cards /smart cards via a chipcard reader. It currently works under Linux, FreeBSD and Windows. It is tested with Towitoko and Kobil readers.

Sysinfo is a simple GNU/Linux program which displays some computer/system information.

Key Scripter listens to key press/release events from a keyboard or a mouse and allows to simulate key press/release and mouse events. Supports gaming keypads, such as Nostromo SpeedPad. Allows the creation of powerful key scripts for games and other applications.

Keypress-to-command mapper for Windows. Requires .NET Framework 3.5. This project is still in early stages, but is still quite capable. Works with virtually any keyboard. Especially handy if the manufacturer's drivers are obsolete or just plain suck.

Monitors CPU Temperature from command line in Fahrenheit and Celsius and gives results of highest and lowest temperatures, and average over period of time run, then logs the data. Requires ACPI.

POSIX API for Win2K-XP. Mainly implemented in the driver. Included: write-on-copy fork, threads, mutexes, spins, condvars, rwlocks, signals ... Signals/cancelation interrupt all waitable syscalls, NT syscalls are automaticaly restarted.

wmpower is a Window Maker dock application for Linux allowing the user to see (and set) the power management status of his laptop. Written in C, works with both APM and ACPI enabled kernels. It also interfaces directly to Toshiba hardware.

This python utility allows users on Linux to control their PC using a HID compatible USB foot pedal. Note: footcontroller does not support the new VEC Infinity in-USB3 pedal, which is not fully Linux compatible The foot pedal becomes an extra mouse or mini keyboard but footcontroller allows you to define multiple pedal sets which you can activate at the click of a button. It uses xdotool to provide you with the ability to assign commands to each pedal. Many foot pedals come with software, often MS Windows only, which allows you to program the pedals to perform some function or other, Footcontroller does away with the proprietary software and allows you to define multiple sets of commands that can be swapped in or out at the click of a button. The advantage is that now, your foot pedal can perform different tasks in multiple situations simply by selecting the appropriate pedal set, rather than having to re-program the foot pedal from scratch.

An applet for the GNOME panel to monitor hardware sensor readings (temperature, voltage and fan) under Linux.

Ivman, or Ikke's Volume Manager, is a generic handler for HAL events. Originally for automounting, it can now be used to run arbitrary commands when events or conditions occur or properties are modified on your hardware. Ivman is based on HAL.

The CD-Rom Control is an X Window control panel which eases the use of the cd-rom drive. It allows you to mount, eject/umount, the cd-rom drive at the click of a button.Other features include autostart and cd status checking.

Computer Temperature Monitor is a little applet for the GNOME desktop that shows the temperature of your computer CPU and disks on screen. It allows you to log temperatures to a file. You can set alarms to notify you when a tempertature is reached.

A solution for Home automation, with HTTP access to manage Tini Board, X10 - I2C - LCD components. You can add your own manager and exchange his services with other. All manager are plug on a kernel (Servlet Java).

Currently, the Linux kernel doesn't support three keys on the "Microsoft Natural® Ergonomic Keyboard 4000": the "Spell" function key and the Zoom-/Zoom+ Rocker. This program is a userspace (X11) driver for those three keys.

TTF-GDOS is a GDOS replacement that uses true type fonts as well as gem fonts. It is small, fast & efficient and can easily be used without a hard drive. It also incorporates features roughly equivalent to font-GDOS: - a caching system so you can use more fonts for a given amount of memory, - built in bezier functions This release includes ttf2gem, a utility program that creates accurate gem fonts from a true type font (new for 2.3) Using true type fonts gives you 3 big benefits: - you can choose from a vast range of true type fonts - true type fonts are scalable so you can have almost any size font you want - true type fonts need much less disk storage than typical gem printer fonts, so even on a low spec machine you can use lots of fonts. Gem fonts and true type fonts complement each other perfectly - gem fonts are small and fast, while true type fonts are device and resolution independent so are scalable to any point size at any resolution.
