Open Source C++ Hardware Platforms

This project was originally designed to provide an open-source replacement for PPJoy. The product, at this point, consists of virtual joystick devices that is seen by the system as a standard joystick but its position-data is written to it by a feeder application. An existing feeder application that takes advantage of this product is SmartPropoPlus. If you are an application writer you can very easily write an application that controls a joystick (e.g. mouse-to-joystick, keyboard-to-joystick). If you are a beginner in device drivers you can take this code and enhance it to support more (or less) axes, buttons or POVs.

SnapKey is a lightweight, open-source tool that operates from the system tray and is designed to track inputs from the WASD keys, without interfering with any game files. SnapKey's main role is to recognize when these keys are pressed and automatically release any previously engaged commands for them. This guarantees responsive and precise input handling. SnapKey handles the WASD keys by default and lets you rebind them to your liking via the config file. This program have only one function. Double click it and all Xbox 360 Controllers will be turned off. Program have no dialogs or settings. It don't required administrator rights. It don't running as service or startup application, after turning off controller program will exit itself. You can add shortcut to desktop and configure hot key to turn off your controller. If you have Xbox One Controller, press X button for 10 seconds to turn off your controller.

You can send the arduino microcontroller a value from 0 to 1023 and the arduino will control the motor speed and direction to reach your target value. The PID algorithm will insure that the motor will not get into hold vibrations if the pot has some influences.
