The Ground Station Software Suite projects aims at providing free, useful software tools for ham radio operators. Currently, this projects hosts the Grig communication radio control. The source repository has been moved over to github.

EggsHam is a PalmOS application that generates (and grades) _practice_ amateur radio licensing exams. It is for people interested in obtaining an amateur radio license in the US, who want to practice for the Technician, General, or Extra written exam.

HTML_testsystem is a fairly flexible system for taking tests at no cost at all, except for the eventually needed webhosting. It is written entirely in HTML code and JavaScript. An Excel workbook is provided to enter questions in a comfortable way.

This is a simple application that converts text to Morse code and audio. It has minimal dependencies and is very lightweight. It does not yet offer the ability to transcribe Morse code and save the output to an audio file. The FCC publishes pools of questions for each of the three Amateur Service (Ham Radio) license exams. Two of my programs clean and parse the files and put the questions and answers into a small lightweight database (SQLite) file. The third program generates practice tests which you can focus on particular areas of the exam or randomly select across the pool. The db file in the project is up to date as of February 3rd, 2020. When the FCC issues new/updated exam pools you can use the cleaning and parsing programs to update the database information. The project includes source code files. You may use them in your projects but you must give me attribution according to the GNU License Version 3.

The purpose of this software is to help people that want to learn Morse code. It aims to be simple and easy to use.
