NASA World Wind is a graphically rich 3D virtual globe for use on desktop computers running Windows. It combines NASA imagery generated from satellites that have produced Blue Marble, Landsat 7, SRTM, MODIS and more.

openBmap collects data and provides open maps and statistics of all communicating objects: cellular antennas, wifi hotspots. All softwares from back-end to client are open-source under AGPL v3 license.

CacheMagnet geocaching software lets you edit, map, and download GPX waypoint files to your GPSr or IPod Nano. Maps and reports can be printed to take with you in the field. The map supports zoom and pan, road map, satellite map and birds-eye.

The Openstreetmap client can be used to access the map data of the Openstreetmap project without using a browser. The user can browse the maps, save the maps on his local PC.
