Open Source BlitzMax Games for Mac

IMPORTANT: this project has been replaced by YSoccer: https://sourceforge.net/projects/ysoccer/ Yoda Soccer is a new soccer game which intends to give a continuation to the funny and easy playable series of Sensible World of Soccer (aka SWOS). This is a simple 2D sprite based tank game that I made in my first year of university for my games development unit, It's written in Blitz Basic.

A ball bounces up and down and by moving the mouse left or right you can make the ball go left and right and that's about all you can do? Easy? Boring? Think again! The object is to gather stars to advance in the game, but as you advance deadly obstacles will appear that you have to avoid. The game starts easy, but it will get harder and harder as you progress. There are bonuses multiplying your scores, but this can be undone so easily. AstroBounce is a very addictive game. Simple rules, but very challenging.

Ballplay Genius is an easy to understand puzzle game, but with challenging puzzles. You can play puzzles in random order so no problem if you can't solve one. And due to the puzzle editor more puzzles can easily come.

Imagine is a simple picture puzzle engine that allows you to puzzle with basically any picture (supported formats BMP, JPEG and PNG). Due to the underlying JCR5 engine (http://jcr5.sourceforge.net), it's easy to make bundles of pictures to swap with friends or over the internet. (Please respect people's copyrights when you do so!!!) Imagine has a simple language engine implemented and comes initially in both English and Dutch, but translations in more languages (maybe yours) are possible.

Power of the Rings II is an old RPG project originally coded in Visual Basic, now ported to BlitzMax. The looks are very oldskool and the story is nice, but pretty basic, still POTR2 offers a challenging gameplay and offers a lot of fun.

Pyramidis is a singleplayer PC-conversion of the boardgame Settlers of Catan. Currently, it supports most basic concepts and is available in German and English. A stable version is available for Windows and Linux only; Mac will hopefully follow...

Scyndi's Forest Quest is a fantasy style puzzle game. It's aims for dragging columns or rows in order to get three symbol's in a row. That sounds easy and boring but don't be fooled, as the game will offer more challenge as you make progress.

A sci-fi JRPG for Mac and Windows. I will post more about this when the project is in a more proper stage.

This is an oldskool RPG game in old NES/SNES style, but with still some cool new twists. Features: - Turn based battles - Playable in English and Dutch - Strong storyline - 8 playable characters with their own background and unique spells/skills/abilities - Available for Windows and Mac - Ability to skip random encounters - When you come back in an old dungeon you can even turn the encounters off completely. - Lots of dungeons, bosses and optional bosses This game is still in development. War In Space (AATM) is a classic space shooting game, with a LUA underground. For the less technical people, it's just a fun space shooting game that starts very extremely easy but will get harder as the game progresses. Fun for hours.

Python ctypes module for the Irrlicht Engine SDK for 2d/3d games and graphics. Compatibility with all Python versions, wich support ctypes module. Second internal project is SWIG wrapper. Additional support for SVG files over AGG or Cairo library. Also irrlicht_c library give access to Irrlicht functional from other programming languages: ASM (FASM), C (TinyC), Basic (FreeBASIC, thinBasic, OxygenBasic), Pascal, Gentee, AutoIt and game frameworks like GameMaker or Blitz.
