Open Source C# Frameworks

PassCore is a very simple 1-page web application written in C#, using ASP.NET Core, Material UI (React Components), and Microsoft Directory Services (Default provider). It allows users to change their Active Directory/LDAP password on their own, provided the user is not disabled. PassCore does not require any configuration, as it obtains the principal context from the current domain. I wrote this because a number of people have requested several features that the original version did not have. The original version of this tool was downloaded around 8000 times in 2.5 years. My hope is that the new version continues to be just as popular. There really is no free alternative out there (that I know of) so hopefully, this saves someone else some time and money. We recommend use the docker image and redirect the traffic to nginx.

The PKI Framework (PKIF) is a cross-platform library for performing PKIX-compliant certificate processing. It includes support for SCVP, OCSP, CMS and Timestamps. It uses Windows CAPI, NSS or Crypto++ for cryptographic services and hardware support.

IdentityServer is a free, open-source OpenID Connect and OAuth 2.0 framework for ASP.NET Core. Founded and maintained by Dominick Baier and Brock Allen, IdentityServer4 incorporates all the protocol implementations and extensibility points needed to integrate token-based authentication, single-sign-on and API access control in your applications. IdentityServer4 is officially certified by the OpenID Foundation and thus spec-compliant and interoperable. It is part of the .NET Foundation and operates under their code of conduct. It is licensed under Apache 2 (an OSI-approved license). Active development happens on the main branch. This always contains the latest version. Each (pre-) release is tagged with the corresponding version. The aspnetcore1 and aspnetcore2 branches contain the latest versions of the older ASP.NET Core based versions.

Project Identity aims to develop an Open source Biometric Solution i.e. complete set of tools and libraries for Biometric identifiction systems. This project has intial code done by students as their summer project at Echo IT Labs Pvt. Ltd.
