AceUnit (Advanced C and Embedded Unit): a comfortable C code unit test framework. AceUnit is JUnit 4.x style, easy, modular and flexible. AceUnit can be used in resource constraint environments, e.g. embedded software development.

This framework supports a wide variety of model-based GUI testing techniques. The innovation lies in the architecture of GUITAR, which uses plug-ins to support flexibility and extensibility. Software developers and quality assurance engineers may use this architecture to create new toolchains, new workflows based on the toolchains, and plug in a variety of measurement tools to conduct GUI testing. PySys is a Python based framework for the organisation and execution of system level automated and manual testcases. IeUnit is a simple framework to test logical behaviors of web sites. It is implemented in JavaScript for Windows XP + Internet Explorer platform.

The DBC framework uses reflection to inspect a type, it then generates source for a proxy object containing checks on predicates in attributes attached to members of the type. Proxy code is compiled into an in-mem assembly used to enforce DBC rules.

BugUnit extends JUnit with the concept of a 'bug'. Multiple tests test one bug, if one test fails the bug is open. Methods like assertEquals("PRJ-123",i,10) will flag bug PRJ-123 as open or closed in Jira and a bug-centric HTML summary.

Carina is a Java-based test automation framework that unites all testing layers: Mobile applications (web, native, hybrid), WEB applications, REST Services, Databases. Concutest is a collection of tools designed to make the development and testing of concurrent Java programs easier and more reliable. Concutest is available under the BSD License and under active development by the JavaPLT group at Rice University.

CouchUnit is a Java Testing Framework, similar to DBUnit, that eases the construction and execution of Integration Tests against CouchDB Datasources.

FUnit is the first generation xUnit testing tool to leverage the custom metadata capabilities of the Flex mxmlc compiler. The tag-based attribute model of FUnit makes it the most intuitive unit-testing framework ever created for the Flex platform.

Fasper is a framework for parser verification, developed using java and antlr. Fasper uses a "golden model" based testing approach and can be integrated with JUnit.
