Apparat
C++ library
Apparat is a powerful C++ framework for linux programmers. It presents handy and practical facilities, including following: advanced smart pointers (strong and weak handles), set of containers (array, list, map, sector, cycle buffer, priority queue), own powerful signal/slot mechanism (signal can connect with slots in other threads), functors and functor's map, threads and timers, state machines, input/output streams and serialization, serial port, sockets and so on. Apparat is a set of C++ source files, that can be compiled with your project. Folder 'test' in source tree contains some examples of using Apparat. For assembling your projects I am suggesting my own project management system based on standard 'make'. Root of this system is ingenious 'GNUMakefile' that automatically generates rules for compiling of all files in project's source tree and linking generated object files in executable file or library. See README for details. -

Ash C++ Template Library (AshTL)
Hashing and spatial concurrency library.
AshTL aims to provide a complete framework for dealing with spatial data in an efficient, parallel manner. As such, we primarily provide container classes and data types relating to 2D and 3D coordinate grids. AshTL is currently in alpha development (some features may not work correctly, and interfaces are likely to change). While in alpha and beta development, AshTL is licensed under AGPL v3+. Stable releases will include an exception so that AshTL itself will always be AGPL, but will not force code that uses it to be. -

Bash Infinity
A modern standard library / framework / boilerplate for Bash
Bash Infinity is a standard library and a boilerplate framework for writing tools using bash. It's modular and lightweight while managing to implement some concepts from C#, Java or JavaScript into bash. The Infinity Framework is also plug & play: include it at the beginning of your existing script to import any of the individual features such as error handling, and start using other features gradually. The aim of Bash Infinity is to maximize the readability of bash scripts, minimize the amount of code repeat and create a central repository for a well-written, and a well-tested standard library for bash. Bash Infinity transforms the often obfuscated "bash syntax" to a cleaner, more modern syntax. Some components are more sturdy than others, and as-it-stands the framework lacks good test coverage (we need your help!). -

Behaviour Control Framework
A C++ framework that uses inhibition trees for behaviour control.
The Behaviour Control Framework is a generic platform-independent C++ framework that implements a control architecture consisting of a hierarchical network of behaviour layers. These layers each contain behaviours that can inhibit one another and interact to achieve control. A full discussion of the structure and ideas behind this framework can be found in the Doxygen documentation that comes with the release. This documentation is well worth a read before you decide if the library is for you! The structure and implementation of this library focuses on the application of the inhibition-based behaviour control architecture to real-time control loops, but can reasonably be adapted for a wide variety of other artificial intelligence applications. Emphasis has been placed on having very low overhead so as not to hurt overall system performance, while still maintaining ease of use. I welcome all feedback, suggestions and bug reports!
