XDev is open and free set of compilers, additional tools, libraries and design patterns for cross-platform and embedded development in modular programming languages. The FBench is the ongoing development of an open-source graphical software tool for embedded automation components and systems based on the IEC 61499 standard. The project originates from the OOONEIDA Workbench pioneered by Dr. James Christensen in 2005.

ANY is a cross platform programming framework, aimed at keeping software from being hardware, processor, operating system or even language dependent by providing an intermediary language that may be compiled and run on any system supported, by anybody.

ELCO stands for Embedded Lisp COmpiler or Esdens Lisp COmpiler. The goal is to create a lisp compiler for embedded 32bit architectures. (i.e. ARM) With this compiler you are able to write lisp code on a naked chip. No OS needed.
