Besu Ethereum Client
An enterprise-grade Java-based, Apache 2.0 licensed Ethereum client
You can use Besu to develop enterprise applications requiring secure, high-performance transaction processing in a private network. A private network is a network not connected to Ethereum Mainnet or an Ethereum testnet. Private networks typically use a different chain ID and proof of authority consensus (QBFT, IBFT 2.0, or Clique). You can also create a local development network using proof of work (Ethash). Instructions for how to get started with developing on the Besu codebase. Please also read the wiki for more details on how to submit a pull request (PR). Besu is an Apache 2.0 licensed, MainNet compatible, Ethereum client written in Java. Participation in private networks is typically restricted in some way, so the volume of traffic is much lower than on Mainnet, resulting in lower system requirements. Depending on your environment and network setup, the minimum Java Virtual Machine (JVM) memory requirement for private networks is 4 GB. -

Erigon
Ethereum implementation on the efficiency frontier
Erigon is an implementation of Ethereum (execution client), on the efficiency frontier, written in Go. For an Archive node of Ethereum Mainnet we recommend >=3TB storage space: 1.8TB state (as of March 2022), 200GB temp files (can symlink or mount folder <datadir>/etl-tmp to another disk). Ethereum Mainnet Full node ( see --prune* flags): 400Gb. Erigon by default is "all in one binary" solution, but it's possible start TxPool as separated processes. Same true about: JSON RPC layer (RPCDaemon), p2p layer (Sentry), history download layer (Downloader), consensus. Don't start services as separated processes unless you have clear reason for it: resource limiting, scale, replace by your own implementation, security. How to start Erigon's services as separated processes, see in docker-compose.yml. -

Lighthouse Ethereum
Ethereum consensus client in Rust
Lighthouse is an Ethereum consensus client that connects to other Ethereum consensus clients to form a resilient and decentralized proof-of-stake blockchain. Lighthouse is available on Linux and macOS via the Homebrew package manager. We implement the specification as defined in the ethereum/consensus-specs repository. Becoming an Ethereum consensus validator is rewarding, but it's not for the faint of heart. You'll need to be familiar with the rules of staking (e.g., rewards, penalties, etc.) and also configuring and managing servers. You'll also need at least 32 ETH! Security-focused. Fuzzing techniques have been continuously applied and several external security reviews have been performed. Built in Rust, a modern language providing unique safety guarantees and excellent performance (comparable to C++). Funded by various organizations, including Sigma Prime, the Ethereum Foundation, ConsenSys, the Decentralization Foundation and private individuals. -

Bee is a Swarm client implemented in Go. It’s the basic building block for the Swarm network: a private; decentralized; and self-sustaining network for permissionless publishing and access to your (application) data.There are two versioning schemes used in Bee that you should be aware of. The main Bee version does NOT follow strict Semantic Versioning. Bee hosts different peer-to-peer wire protocol implementations and individual protocol breaking changes would necessitate a bump in the major part of the version. Breaking changes are expected with bumps of the minor version component. New (backward-compatible) features and bug fixes are expected with a bump of the patch component. Major version bumps are reserved for significant changes in Swarm's incentive structure. The second set of versions that are important are the Bee's API versions (denoted in our Bee and Bee Debug OpenAPI specifications). -

wagmi
React Hooks for Ethereum
wagmi is a collection of React Hooks containing everything you need to start working with Ethereum. wagmi makes it easy to "Connect Wallet," display ENS and balance information, sign messages, interact with contracts, and much more, all with caching, request deduplication, and persistence. We create a wagmi Client and pass it to the WagmiConfig React Context. The client is set up to use the ethers Default Provider and automatically connect to previously connected wallets. Next, we use the useConnect hook to connect an injected wallet (e.g. MetaMask) to the app. Finally, we show the connected account's address with useAccount and allow them to disconnect with useDisconnect. First, configure your desired chains to be used by wagmi, and the providers you want to use. -

Hyperledger Burrow
A permissioned Ethereum smart-contract blockchain node
Hyperledger Burrow is a permissioned Ethereum smart-contract blockchain node. It executes Ethereum EVM and WASM smart contract code (usually written in Solidity) on a permissioned virtual machine. Burrow provides transaction finality and high transaction throughput on a proof-of-stake Tendermint consensus engine. Burrow is a fully-fledged blockchain node and smart contract execution engine -- a distributed database that executes code. Burrow runs Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) and Web Assembly (WASM) smart contracts. Burrow networks are synchronized using the Tendermint consensus algorithm. A node can detect if its state is corrupted or if a validator is dishonestly executing the protocol. Run a private or public permissioned network. Stakeholders may vote for autonomous smart contract upgrades. Application state is organised in an event stream and can drive external systems. -

Blockchains built with the Cosmos SDK are generally referred to as application-specific blockchains. The goal of the Cosmos SDK is to allow developers to easily create custom blockchains from scratch that can natively interoperate with other blockchains. -

Create Ethereum-powered apps with one command. Create Eth App works on macOS, Windows, and Linux. If you've previously installed create-eth-app globally via yarn global add create-eth-app, we recommend you uninstall the package using yarn global remove create-eth-app and use the yarn create eth-app shorthand to ensure that you use the last version. When you’re ready to deploy to production, create a minified bundle with yarn run react-app:build. You’ll need to have Node 14 or later version on your local development machine (but it’s not required on the server). You can use nvm (macOS/Linux) or nvm-windows to switch Node versions between different projects. You'll also need Yarn on your local development machine. This is because Create Eth App relies on Yarn Workspaces, a feature not supported by Npm. -

Echidna is a weird creature that eats bugs and is highly electrosensitive (with apologies to Jacob Stanley) More seriously, Echidna is a Haskell program designed for fuzzing/property-based testing of Ethereum smarts contracts. It uses sophisticated grammar-based fuzzing campaigns based on a contract ABI to falsify user-defined predicates or Solidity assertions. We designed Echidna with modularity in mind, so it can be easily extended to include new mutations or test specific contracts in specific cases. Optional corpus collection, mutation and coverage guidance to find deeper bugs. Powered by Slither to extract useful information before the fuzzing campaign.
