An interactive viewer for three-dimensional chemical structures.

Jmol/JSmol is a molecular viewer for 3D chemical structures that runs in four independent modes: an HTML5-only web application utilizing jQuery, a Java applet, a stand-alone Java program (Jmol.jar), and a "headless" server-side component (JmolData.jar). Jmol can read many file types, including PDB, CIF, SDF, MOL, PyMOL PSE files, and Spartan files, as well as output from Gaussian, GAMESS, MOPAC, VASP, CRYSTAL, CASTEP, QuantumEspresso, VMD, and many other quantum chemistry programs. Files can be transferred directly from several databases, including RCSB, EDS, NCI, PubChem, and MaterialsProject. Multiple files can be loaded and compared. A rich scripting language and a well-developed web API allow easy customization of the user interface. Features include interactive animation and linear morphing. JavaScript-Based Molecular Viewer From Jmol
JSmol is the extension of the Java-based molecular visualization applet Jmol (jmol.sourceforge.net) as an HTML5 JavaScript-only web app. It can be used in conjunction with the Java applet to provide an alternative to Java when the platform does not support that (iPhone/iPad) or does not support applets (Android). Used in conjunction with the Jmol JavaScript Object (http://wiki.jmol.org/index.php/Jmol_Javascript_Object), JSmol seamlessly offers alternatives to Java on these non-Applet platforms. JSmol can read all the files that Jmol reads. You can do all the scripting that Jmol does. You can create all the buttons and links and such that you are used to creating for Jmol. Navegação em árvore binária baseada em perguntas e respostas
O GiftFinder foi criado inicialmente pois muitas vezes ficamos em dúvida do que dar de presente para um amigo(a) ou parente. O aplicativo GiftFinder foi construído com um propósito puramente educacional, de forma a demonstrar, por meio de um algoritmo programado em Java, a navegação entre nós de uma árvore binária que foi estaticamente construída. O GiftFinder possui um comportamento similar ao Akinator, ou seja, dada uma resposta para uma pergunta, o algoritmo irá avaliar a resposta, tomar uma decisão, navegar entre os nós da árvore binária e sugerir opções de presentes. Se o último nó da árvore for alcançado o aplicativo exibe uma última sugestão de presente mesmo que a resposta for "Não". Esse comportamento foi propositalmente adotado para caso o usuário mude de ideia. Obs: Diferente do Akinator, o GiftFinder não possui inteligência artificial, ou seja, ele não é retro alimentado de informações para a criação de ramificações e nós. -

JQM - Java Quine McCluskey for minimization of Boolean functions.
Java Quine McCluskey implements the Quine McCluskey algorithm with Petrick’s Method (or the method of prime implicants) for minimization of Boolean functions. This software can be used both for learning and solving real problems. As a learning/teaching tool, it presents not only the results but also how the problem was solved as well as how to use Karnaugh Maps to solve the problem. Up to sixteen functions of sixteen variables can be minimized. A graphical interface is provided for entering and editing the truth table that can be saved and loaded. The results can be exported in HTML format. It generates the Karnaugh Map for educational purposes and the actual truth table from the obtained expressions even when multiple solutions for each function are found. This implementation supports PLC programming, so results can be presented in many forms including Structured Text (ST) and Ladder Diagram (LD) along with conventional Boolean expression. -
