A windowed / full-screen countdown timer. Colour and font size changes are used as warnings. Progress-bar gives a glance at the time stream. Three different modes are available: - time left; - time passed; - ordinary clock. When the time is over several possibilities are available: - to show the defined message; - to continue count the time; - to launch another application; - to close the count-down timer. Useful for speech, lecture or presentation timing. Colour / font / time limits can be changed using settings window and hot-keys. To change current time use the mouse wheel. By clicking on progress-bar, the timer mode is toggled. -

SES is built on ISAAC, Bob Jenkins' unbroken CSPRNG, a fast and simple stream cipher placed in the Public Domain in 1996. SES now gives you the ability to efficiently cipher text of arbitrary length or files of any size or type. Use it with confidence. To achieve complete one-on-one privacy, SES traverses several levels en route to its output. The more words in your key-phrase, the more layers of encipherment SES applies. It is part Vigenere, part onetime pad, part cryptographic hash, not to mention the essential scrambler element, each component driven by ISAAC, with all key-derivation and stretching relying on Keccak in 512-bit configuration. -

SPINA
Structure parameter inference approach for endocrine feedback control
SPINA is software for the rapid, reliable and accurate determination of constant structure parameters of endocrine feedback control systems. It is a class of static function tests that require nothing more than steady-state concentrations of hormones or metabolites obtained in vivo. The first version of this cybernetic approach had been developed for the evaluation of the functional status of the thyroid gland, i.e. thyroid's secretory capacity (gain of thyroid, GT or SPINA-GT) and sum activity of peripheral deiodinases (GD or SPINA-GD). A second version has been established for insulin-glucose homeostasis. It delivers the secretory capacity of pancreatic beta cells (SPINA-GBeta), an estimate for the insulin receptor amplification (SPINA-GR) and a static disposition index as a measure for the loop gain of the feedback loop (SPINA-DI). Both implementations of SPINA have been validated in more than 50 clinical studies based on large cohorts.">

Body Mass Index (BMI) and Other Indexes Calculator with Classification
CIMA is a program that provides an easy way to calculate a diversity of body indexes related to the fat content and energy needs, providing a way to control our weight: 1 - Body Mass Index (BMI), including both the traditional and the new proposed formulas, and provides a classification of the results. The evaluation takes in account the age groups (adults, children and the elderly). 2 - Body Adiposity Index (BAI). 3 - Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) for Men and for Women. 4 - Body Fat Percentage (BFP). 5 - Total Daily Calories Needs based on the activity levels of the user lifestyle. The program supports 3 languages (English, European Portuguese and Brazilian Portuguese). IMPORTANT: CIMA works only with the International System of Units (SI). No other systems are allowed since SI is the standard one. CIMA may still require a depuration before becoming a mature program, but it is already functional and may be downloaded by anyone. -

BEDBUG is a small, fast, cryptographically secure pseudo-random number generator (CSPRNG) and stream cipher. It exhibits uniform distribution, mixes rapidly (with worst-case avalanche better than 16-bits), has no detected bias, and comes in three variants: BEDBUG128, with an internal state array of 128+3 32-bit words; BEDBUG256, with an internal state of 256+3 words; and BEDBUG512 with a 512+3-word state. The former permit seeding with a key of up to 4096 or 8192 bits, the latter with a 16384-bit key. The BEDBUG generator itself is a mere 5 lines of code: Three rotations; two pseudo-random lookups. The default BEDBUG configuration alternates the rotation constants unpredictably. These four sets of three values differ between BEDBUG128, BEDBUG256 and BEDBUG512 and were selected, tuned and tested in each case for optimal avalanche, which is never less than 16.5 bits. BEDBUG has passed stringent industry-standard tests for randomness, including NIST and DIEHARD. -

At the moment, the software contains + a kind of "Karel the Robot" scenario + a mathematical data plot + a diagram to visualize sorting algorithms + a canvas to draw geometrical objects and manipulate bitmap graphics by the RGB values of the single pixels. ATTENTION: ========== It is possible that at first use, compilation with Lazarus will throw a compilation error since the TChart component has to be compiled first. A second compilation should solve this problem.
