The TESTIMAGES archive is a huge and free collection of sample images designed for analysis and quality assessment of different kinds of displays and image processing techniques. The archive includes more than 2 million images originally acquired and divided in three different categories: SAMPLING and SAMPLING_PATTERNS (aimed at testing resampling algorithms), COLOR (aimed at testing color rendering on different displays) and PATTERNS (aimed at testing the rendering of standard geometrical patterns). Outta Timer is a versatile egg timer style application for Windows. Based on the .NET framework, this program allows users to set a single countdown timer, save a list of frequently used countdown timers, or simply count up from zero. The timer playlist can be run in sequence, which is perfect for scripted situations like presentations, or time-sensitive choreographed events like broadcast scheduling and event management. This application was developed in the first place as an aide for benchmarking processes that required many different time intervals. User created playlists can be saved and imported, insuring you always have the right set of timers for the occasion. Future features may include PowerPoint integration and actionable triggers (think cron job or scheduled task) that can fire after a given timer expires. Ultimately the goal is for this to become a must-have utility in everyone's 'Accessories' folder.

The repertory grid interviewing technique was developed as a way to systematically examine how individuals or groups perceive knowledge, their problems, organisation, service provision, etc while avoiding interviewer distortions. Enquire Within provides a clear structure for the process, leading the interviewer through the steps and disciplines required to set up a successful interview and then prompts the interviewer with carefully constructed questions to facilitate comparing and contrasting elements related to the purpose of the interview. Responses are progressively recorded and can, as required, be analysed for the purpose of constructing further compare and contract questions to gain more granularity. While the repertory grid interview can be carried out manually it is not possible to carry out dendritic analysis of the results on the fly without interrupting the flow of the interview. The EventStream Experimenter Workbench is a data collection framework with integrated visualization techniques to facilitate eye tracking research. The software currently supports the ASL eye trackers.

Evrika is a science simulator and advanced calculator, which is based on modules. Modules are libraries containing definitions of concepts that can be used in the simulation. By definitions we mean properties, actions, reactions, etc. Evrika is used for creating both simulations and modules, so you can build your own module of elements, then use them to create virtual experiments and simulations. Also, you can make advanced calculations. Evrika is basically an executable that reads and interprets code, outputing result. Each new version will offer new possibilities to define your elements and use them, so it is important to always have the last release. Of course, Evrika is backward-compatible, cross platform and free to use. In the near future an advanced editor and viewer will be created, so you can better manage your code and view the results.
