Open Source Linux Compilers

Jasmin is a Java Assembler. It takes ASCII descriptions for Java classes, written in a simple assembler-like syntax. It converts them into binary Java .class class files suitable for loading into a Java Virtual Machine implementation.

Virtual T is a TRS-80 Model 100/102/200 emulator that runs on Windows, Linux, and Macintosh. The goal of Virtual T is to provide 100% hardware emulation so any existing programs will run. It also adds powerful development and debugging tools.

The purpose of this project is to create and update a beginners guide to FreeBASIC. Over the years I have noticed that there was only three real ways to learn FreeBASIC. The FreeBASIC Documentation, the FreeBASIC Community Forum, and A old beginners guide written by Richard D. Clark and Ebben Feagan. Each of these sources are great, but they all assume some experience with a programming language. This Project is taking Richard D. Clark's and Ebben Feagan's "A Beginner's Guide to FreeBasic" and is editing, updating, reorganizing, and simplifying this guide. Mr. Clark and Mr. Feagan generously open sourced there guide so I could start this project. Without being able to stand on their shoulders I could not have even started this project. The Java Modeling Language (JML) is a behavioral interface specification language that can be used to specify the behavior of Java modules (as in design by contract -- DBC). Hipo is a hypothetical computer to facilitate the learning of machine language. The student can use hipo to develop simple programs and understand the internal logic of a computer. There is a plan to implement Donald Knuth's MMIX machine language, also.

Hogan.js is a 2.5k JS templating engine developed at Twitter. Use it as a part of your asset packager to compile templates ahead of time or include it in your browser to handle dynamic templates. If you're developing with Node.js, just use NPM to add the Hogan package. Hogan.js was developed against the mustache test suite, so everything that holds true for templates is also the case for hogan.js. That means you get variables, sections, lambdas, partials, filters, and everything else you've come to expect from mustache templating, only much, much faster. Use hogan.compile() to precompile your templates into vanilla JS. It's best to serve your templates precompiled whenever you can (rather than the raw templates), as parsing is the most time consuming operation. Once compiled, call the render() method with a context and optional partials object. If supplying partials, you can compile them ahead of time, or pass string templates.

This project aims to implement an LC2/LC3 assembler and simulator for the Linux and Windows platforms.

Here you can find both an Oberon V4 system for Linux (x86) and a collection of Oberon V4 sources for various other platforms. Oberon V4 was implemented at ETH Zurich for several platforms. Binaries can be found on their server[1] and on the one of the University of Linz[2] where Mössenböck's group did further development after he left ETH and the Group at ETH concentrated on System 3. RCXJavaC A Java like compiler for the Lego Mindstorms Robotics kit.

RunCC is a new kind of parsergenerator that generates parsers and lexers at runtime. Source generation is only optional. It features the absence of any cryptography. Although intended for small languages, it comes with Java and XML example parsers.
