PEARL is a high level procedural programming language, which was especially designed for the demanding need to have an expressive and comfortable language for solving multitasking problems when controlling technincal processes. PEARL is an abbreviation for "(P)rocess and (E)xperiment (A)utomation (R)ealtime (L)anguage". It was designed around 1975 at the IRT Institute of the Leibniz University in Hannover with the idea in mind to have an easy to learn programming language for realtime problems. PEARL provides the standard data types and structures known from other procedural languages like e.g. PASCAL. The NT POSIX C Runtime Library is an IEEE standard runtime library for the NT POSIX subsystem. It can be used as a complete replacement or a side by side alternative for what is shipped with the Interix SDK.

Opal is a Ruby to JavaScript source-to-source compiler. It comes packed with the Ruby corelib you know and love. It is both fast as a runtime and small in its footprint. The lib directory holds the Opal parser/compiler used to compile Ruby into JavaScript. It is also built ready for the browser into opal-parser.js to allow compilation in any JavaScript environment. This directory holds the Opal runtime and corelib implemented in Ruby and JavaScript. opal-parser allows you to eval Ruby code directly from your HTML (and from Opal) files without needing any other building process. Opal.compile is a simple interface to just compile a string of Ruby into a string of JavaScript code. Scala Native is an optimizing ahead-of-time compiler and lightweight managed runtime designed specifically for Scala. Pointers, structs, you name it. Low-level primitives let you hand-tune your application to make it work exactly as you want it to. You’re in control. Calling C code has never been easier. With the help of extern objects you can seamlessly call native code without any runtime overhead. Scala Native is compiled ahead of time via LLVM. This means that there is no sluggish warm-up phase that’s common for just-in-time compilers. Your code is immediately fast and ready for action. Scala Native requires Clang, which is part of the LLVM toolchain. The recommended LLVM version is the most recent available for your system provided that it works with Scala Native. Scala Native uses the Immix garbage collector by default. You can use the Boehm garbage collector instead. If you chose to use that alternate garbage collector both the native library and header files must be provided.

Tengo is a small, dynamic, fast, secure script language for Go. Tengo is fast and secure because it's compiled/executed as bytecode on stack-based VM that's written in native Go. Securely Embeddable and Extensible. Compiler/runtime written in native Go (no external deps or cgo). Executable as a standalone language / REPL.
