testssl.sh is a free command-line tool that checks a server's service on any port for the support of TLS/SSL ciphers, protocols as well as recent cryptographic flaws and more. testssl.sh is free and open-source software. You can use it under the terms of GPLv2, please review the License before using it. Works for Linux, Mac OSX, FreeBSD, NetBSD and WSL/MSYS2/Cygwin out of the box, no need to install or configure something, no gems, CPAN, pip or the like. OpenBSD only needs bash to be postinstalled. You can test any SSL/TLS enabled and STARTTLS service, not only webservers at port 443. Several command line options help you to run your test and configure your output. If a particular check cannot be performed because of a missing capability on your client side, you'll get a warning. You can look at the code, see what's going on and you can change it. -

fx can work in two modes, cli and interactive. To start interactive mode pipe any JSON into fx. One of the frequent operations is mapping some function on an array. You can pass any number of anonymous functions for reducing JSON. fx provides a function save which will save everything in place and return saved object. This function can be only used with filename as first argument to fx command. Create .fxrc file in $HOME directory, and require any packages or define global functions. To be able require global modules make sure you have correct NODE_PATH env variable. If you need output other than JSON (for example arguments for xargs), do not return anything from the reducer. undefined value is printed into stderr by default. Sometimes it is necessary to omit some messages in JSON stream, or select only specified log messages. Things can be done with Notcurses that simply can't be done with NCURSES. It is furthermore fast as shit. What it is not: a source-compatible X/Open Curses implementation, nor a replacement for NCURSES on existing systems. Notcurses abandons the X/Open Curses API bundled as part of the Single UNIX Specification. For some necessary background, consult Thomas E. Dickey's superb and authoritative NCURSES FAQ. As such, Notcurses is not a drop-in Curses replacement. Wherever possible, Notcurses makes use of the Terminfo library shipped with NCURSES, benefiting greatly from its portability and thoroughness. Notcurses opens up advanced functionality for the interactive user on workstations, phones, laptops, and tablets, possibly at the expense of e.g. some industrial and retail terminals. -

Percollate is a command-line tool that turns web pages into beautifully formatted PDF, EPUB, or HTML files. By default, percollate processes URLs in parallel. Use the --wait option to process them sequentially instead, with a pause between items. The delay is specified in seconds, and can be zero. By default, percollate bundles all web pages in a single file. Use the --individual flag to export each source to a separate file. Additional CSS styles you can pass from the command line to override styles specified by the default/custom stylesheet. Generate a hyperlinked table of contents. The option is implicitly enabled when bundling more than one web page to a single file. Disable this implicit behavior by passing the --no-to flag. The idea with percollate is to make PDFs that can be printed without losing where the hyperlinks point to. However, for some link-heavy pages, the appended hrefs can become bothersome. -

This command line tool can be used to encrypt and decrypt files and directories using the AWS Encryption SDK. If you have not already installed cryptography, you might need to install additional prerequisites as detailed in the cryptography installation guide for your operating system. Installation using a python virtual environment is recommended to avoid conflicts between system packages and user-installed packages. For the most part, the behavior of aws-encryption-cli in handling files is based on that of GNU CLIs such as cp. A qualifier to this is that when encrypting a file, if a directory is provided as the destination, rather than creating the source filename in the destination directory, a suffix is appended to the destination filename. By default the suffix is .encrypted when encrypting and .decrypted when decrypting, but a custom suffix can be provided by the caller if desired. -

Facebook PathPicker is a simple command line tool that solves the perpetual problem of selecting files out of bash output. Bash is fully supported and works the best. ZSH is supported as well, but won't have a few features like alias expansion in command line mode. csh/fish/rc are supported in the latest version, but might have quirks or issues in older versions of PathPicker. Note: if your default shell and current shell is not in the same family (bash/zsh... v.s. fish/rc), you need to manually export environment variable $SHELL to your current shell. -

S3cmd (s3cmd) is a free command line tool and client for uploading, retrieving and managing data in Amazon S3 and other cloud storage service providers that use the S3 protocol, such as Google Cloud Storage or DreamHost DreamObjects. It is best suited for power users who are familiar with command-line programs. It is also ideal for batch scripts and automated backup to S3, triggered from cron, etc. S3cmd is written in Python. Parsing HTML at the command line
pup is a command line tool for processing HTML. It reads from stdin, prints to stdout, and allows the user to filter parts of the page using CSS selectors. Inspired by jq, pup aims to be a fast and flexible way of exploring HTML from the terminal. If you have Go installed on your computer just run go get. If you're on OS X, use Homebrew to install (no Go required). By default pup will fill in missing tags and properly indent the page. CSS selectors have a group of specifiers called "pseudo classes" which are pretty cool. pup implements a majority of the relevant ones them. When combining selectors, the HTML nodes selected by the previous selector will be passed to the next ones. Non-HTML selectors which effect the output type are implemented as functions which can be provided as a final argument. Print the values of all attributes with a given key from all selected nodes. -

Unused identifies unused code in Rails, Phoenix, and other types of applications, improving developer productivity. By default, unused leverages a different memory allocator called mimalloc. For my local benchmarks, it speeds up execution by a significant amount (which is documented in the commit introducing mimalloc), but currently runs into sporadic issues on Apple M1 devices. If you run into issues with segmentation faults, consider reinstalling unused with the stock Rust allocator. It is strongly recommended you install Universal Ctags to generate tags files. Universal Ctags supports more languages and has native parsers for a good number of them, resulting in faster tags generation time. -

Simple command-line tool for text to image generation using OpenAI's CLIP and Siren (Implicit neural representation network). In true deep learning fashion, more layers will yield better results. Default is at 16, but can be increased to 32 depending on your resources. Technique first devised and shared by Mario Klingemann, it allows you to prime the generator network with a starting image, before being steered towards the text. Simply specify the path to the image you wish to use, and optionally the number of initial training steps. We can also feed in an image as an optimization goal, instead of only priming the generator network. Deepdaze will then render its own interpretation of that image. The regular mode for texts only allows 77 tokens. If you want to visualize a full story/paragraph/song/poem, set create_story to True. -
