Unused
A command line tool to identify unused code
Unused identifies unused code in Rails, Phoenix, and other types of applications, improving developer productivity. By default, unused leverages a different memory allocator called mimalloc. For my local benchmarks, it speeds up execution by a significant amount (which is documented in the commit introducing mimalloc), but currently runs into sporadic issues on Apple M1 devices. If you run into issues with segmentation faults, consider reinstalling unused with the stock Rust allocator. It is strongly recommended you install Universal Ctags to generate tags files. Universal Ctags supports more languages and has native parsers for a good number of them, resulting in faster tags generation time. -

The repository contains the server and client code, instructions to run a local standalone instance (including Python virtualenv setup), and tooling to fetch or maintain the upstream cheat-sheet data; installation documentation explains disk-space needs and dependency setup for offline use. Cheat.sh is intentionally minimal and scriptable, so it fits naturally into shells, CI scripts, editors, and quick lookups without leaving the terminal, while also offering ways to extend or host personal cheat sheets. -

Files are shared using the Send service and may be up to 1GB. Others are able to download these files with this tool, or through their web browser. An optional password may be specified, and a default file lifetime of 1 (up to 20) download or 24 hours is enforced to ensure your stuff does not remain online forever. A command-line tool and library for generating regular expressions
grex is a library as well as a command-line utility that is meant to simplify the often complicated and tedious task of creating regular expressions. It does so by automatically generating a single regular expression from user-provided test cases. The resulting expression is guaranteed to match the test cases which it was generated from. This project has started as a Rust port of the JavaScript tool regexgen written by Devon Govett. Although a lot of further useful features could be added to it, its development was apparently ceased several years ago. The plan is now to add these new features to grex as Rust really shines when it comes to command-line tools. grex offers all features that regexgen provides, and more. The philosophy of this project is to generate the most specific regular expression possible by default that exactly matches the given input only and nothing else. With the use of command-line flags (in the CLI tool) or preprocessing methods (in the library). -

mgrep is a command line tool that allows users to search text files for lines matching a given regular expression. It is similar to the well-known Unix utility, grep. As a natural extension to the single-line regular expressions, mgrep is also capable of searching for multiline patterns. mgrep is not a grep replacement, but it is intended to be grep-compatible: implemented options and behavior should be the same as those of grep. mgrep is written in C++ using the Boost.Regex library. A configure/make system is provided for Linux, but its source code should compile on all platforms that have the std and Boost.Regex libraries installed.
