The project is to make a site with a program to learn chess for children of 6-12 years old. The program wil run in an applet and linked to a MYSQL database. Hans Nuijen is the creator of the method how to learn the game playful.

The Felo rating system provides an objective fencing strength estimate for each individual fencer in a group, just like the Elo rating in chess. This program calculates the Felo numbers by analysing a bout result list created by the user.

Our goal is to write a program that calculates and demonstrates the moves of a knight on a chess board (with different sizes though) so that it steps on each field only once and returns to its original position that can be chosen by the user.
