mp3splt is a free utility to split mp3, ogg vorbis and FLAC files without decoding, selecting begin/end time; if file is an album, you can get splitpoints automatically from internet or a local cue, cddb file. It also splits Mp3Wrap and AlbumWrap archives. Supports splitting and trimming by silence detection. For mp3 files, both ID3v1 and ID3v2 are supported using original tags or user defined tags.

Advanced GTK+ Sequencer is intended to use for music composition. It features a piano roll, as well a synth, matrix editor, drum machine, soundfont2 player, mixer and an output panel. It's designed to be highly configurable, you may add effects to its effect chain, add or remove audio channels/pads. You may set up a fully functional network of engines, therefore exists a link editor for linking audio lines. In conjunction with ags you need a realtime kernel and alsa support. `ags` uses conditional locks to keep several threads in sync that's why you need at least a preemptible kernel.

ppc is an E-MU Planet Phatt, Orbit, Carnaval remote and SysEx-editor written in C/GTK+-2. You can control all global- and all preset-parameters and create new presets.

WavSplit splits large WAV files at given time positions. To find out split positions you can use any WAV player or editor with a time display.

This application's purpose in life is to take a wave file and break it up into multiple wave files. It makes a clean break at the correct position to burn the files to an audio cd without any dead air between the tracks.

Bulk ID3 is an en-masse ID3 tag editor. It is designed to allow bulk modification of mp3 files, as well as file renaming. The current release is an alpha release and should only be used to modify test files. For usage see the README file.
