ipmiutil is an easy to use set of IPMI server management utilities. It can get/set sensor readings & thresholds, automate SEL management, do SOL console, etc. Supports Linux, Windows, BSD, Solaris, MacOSX. The only IPMI project tool that runs natively on Windows. See ipmiutil.sf.net for rpms, etc. (formerly called panicsel). It can run driverless in Linux for use on boot media or embedded environments.

SpeedFan lets you take a deeper view at the status of your computer. Almost every computer includes support for hardware monitoring. Accessing digital temperature sensors is really useful. If you are trying to figure out why your PC hangs when under heavy load or after some hours of usage, SpeedFan might help you find the real cause. Very often it is a poor power supply, or an improperly installed heatsink that lead to behaviours that we tend to associate (incorrectly) with errors from the operating system. SpeedFan automatically searches your computer for informative chips: the hardware monitor chips. SpeedFan can display voltages, fan speeds and temperatures. On rare occasions, the BIOS doesn't activate such features. SpeedFan tries to enable them as long as this is a safe thing to do. Not only the motherboard is searched, but also some video cards and almost every currently sold hard disk. SpeedFan can access status info from EIDE, SATA and even SCSI drives

AlienFX Tools is a suite of utilities aimed at controlling lighting, fan, and power behaviors on Alienware systems, directly interfacing with USB or ACPI hardware rather than relying on official drivers. This project supports a broad range of effects and modes, allowing users to customize RGB lighting zones, create and switch profiles based on system states (like power source or running applications), and generate lighting behaviors tied to thermal and performance events. Because it operates at a low level, alienfx-tools can offer faster update rates and more flexible configurations compared to some manufacturer software. It includes both command-line and graphical frontend elements to support different user preferences, making it suitable for automation as well as interactive use. Enthusiasts use it to tailor lighting aesthetics and system responsiveness, especially on systems where official Alienware control panels are unavailable or problematic.

CUPS back-end for the canon printers using the proprietary USB over IP BJNP protocol. This back-end allows Cups to print over the network to a Canon printer. We are developing a set of Delphi components to communicate with a ModBus PLC over TCP/IP. 'System Information Viewer' is a general Windows utility for displaying lots of useful Windows, Network and hardware info - CPU info, PCI info, PCMCIA info, USB info SMBus info, SPD info, ACPI methods, Machine info, Hardware Sensors, Networked computers, Operating System Information and more. SIV is designed for Windows 11, 10, 8, 7, Vista, XP, 2012, 2008, 2003, 2000 and NT4. Windows 95, 98 and Me are also supported. SIV can also be used to control AIO devices, such as fans and LEDs. To do this, you need to specify the -AIOCTL command line qualifier. When -AIOCTL is specified, SIV will automatically do the EnhancedPowerManagementEnabled registry change and restart the USB device. SIV (System Information Viewer) uses pcidevs.txt for the PCI devices, usbdevs.txt for the USB devices, and mondevs.txt for monitoring pcmdevs.txt PCMCIA device descriptions.

IEEE 802.15.4 networkong stack covers PHY and MAC layers (PHY layer implemented in hardware and MAC optionally implemented in software). Also 6lowpan (IPv6 packet encapsulation) is implemented for use by IEEE 802.15.4 and BT LE networks.
