Born on Strong (Long) Island, NY where he was raised in the small town of Mastic Beach, known as "the Sticks," Strong Victory aka SV "the Soul Spitta," not only witnessed but also experienced life's struggles for himself. As many have before him, SV used music to heal, express his point of view & to commune with the higher power. From dancing at house parties to performing in talent shows at a young age, it was undeniable how much he loved music. Throughout his late teens, he was not only a fan of mainstream & underground Hip Hop & R&B, but also supported many of his peers who shared the same passion. Surrounded by endless rap ciphers that took place in lunch rooms, basements, stoops, cars & street corners. He served as a valued critic & supporter, to all who asked for his opinion & guidance. At times harsh, SV was as raw & honest as he could be so that others could strive for perfection. As one who could understand the influence of words, freestyling just wasn’t a skill he possessed, & he never thought to become a rapper himself, but his admiration for harmonizing with R&B grew the desire to pursue singing. Although he had a smooth tone, being forthright with himself, he knew he would be more of a background vocalist. Therefore, SV felt it was more of a personal hobby than his chosen path. Eventually, by the age of 20, SV started to write his own lyrics. At the time, poetry was his chosen form of expression & with guidance from others he began formulating his words into measured bars & beats. After many attempts writing verse after verse, within a year, SV recorded his first song "We Here Now" in collaboration with his childhood friend. He instantly fell in love with the recording process. Hearing himself for the first time in the studio was one of the biggest highs he ever experienced. Feeling the power of his words uplifted him into a triumphant state enabling him to overcome anything & everything he was going through. SV has always been highly connected to the universal spirit & through his words he finally had a way to fight his own battles. He found his strength through the voice within him. Considered to be a soul speaker & a spiritual lyricist, SV focused most of his energy on perfecting his craft as a writer. Discouraged by the cost of recording & unsatisfied with the mix of a song, he decided to attend school for sound engineering. In the search of happiness and to better his circumstances, SV met the love of his life & moved to the "Magic City" of Miami, Florida. It was there where he studied sound engineering and continued to write & record his own music at local studios. He has had short-term internships & worked at a few recording studios in the area, which helped to develop his engineering skills. Eventually he pieced together a home recording studio, Blue Blaze Productions, where he continues his work not only as an artist but as an engineer helping others along the way. SV's other half, his beautiful wife, and the mother to their precious daughters also plays a big part in the development of making his dreams a reality. Like many struggling artists finding the balance of handling your responsibilities & pursuing your dreams is a no easy task. Today you can find him grinding away in the studio, still dancing, singing, writing lyrics/poetry, rapping & learning to produce original music. His true intentions are to share his growth & knowledge with the world in hopes that it heals others, so they may find their Heaven on Earth.
