SLOWMOUTH is a DJ and producer who has been active since 2010, originally based in Cheonan, South Korea. Known for blending emotion and atmosphere into addictive grooves and captivating soundscapes, he creates a unique sense of spatial depth in his sets. His career has expanded beyond Korea to vibrant activity across Asia, including Japan, Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Vietnam, and Thailand. In 2024, he successfully completed a North American tour and continues to steadily extend his influence beyond Asia. His mixes have been featured on the Scottish podcast platform Motus, and have been selected as both "Mix of the Day" and "Best Mix" by Resident Advisor. He released his first single "Close Call" through Korean label Oracle Records, and contributed the track "Know Wave" to the Beirut-based compilation STEMS on Hypnotic LTD. He later co-founded Morsecode Records with Cliff Sequence, releasing "Trauma" on the vinyl-only series (MRS001) and "Intoxicate" on the digital series (MRD001). He also contributed "Fancy" to the Voyage - Various Artists 002 (JFW002) compilation from Justtishwax, collaborating with artists such as Cos, Dott, and Hish. His debut EP Anchor (MRSO02) featured collaborations with Nils Weimann, Modebaku, Zalapa & Cliff Sequence, and sold out all physical copies distributed online. In addition, he has been actively involved as a contributor or remixer on various compilation albums from labels such as Morerice Records (Bangkok), Buta Records (Baku), Borderless (Los Angeles), and Evaporate (Taiwan), steadily continuing his long-standing work as a producer. He is currently partnered with the LA-based underground label Borderless Project, and contributes to Korea's minimal scene through his ongoing work with Morsecode Records.
