Reiko Moss is an artist that stands out due to not only being able to rap, but he can sing, produces his own songs and engineers them. Reiko comes every time with thought provoking and meaningful lyrics that detail love, real life, his experiences as well as his hardships. Both sentimental and aggressive, he makes music with the intention of motivating and inspiring his listeners to love, to live, to never give up on life and to not quit on their dreams. Reiko was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado where he lived most of his life, but also lived in McMinnville, Oregon to play football and attend college. He studied Psychology for 3 years until he decided to drop out in 2015 because he wasn’t fulfilled and happy with what he was doing. He then finished out his junior year and moved back home to find his true passion in life. He had always loved Rap and R&B music since a young boy and had dreams of being an artist, but never pursued music due to his father pushing him to play football while being an old-school man that believed college, sports or the military were the only reasonable means of making a living in life. In 2015, Reiko decided to go against the grain of his family’s beliefs and follow his love of expressing himself through music. He started out making beats on an app on he smart phone and only stuck to being a producer for fear of being judged for what he had to say in his songs. He made beats and would sell some here and there but selling beats never really took off for him and he felt like he needed more education to learn both the music and business side. Reiko then enrolled into Full Sail University in the bachelor’s degree program for Audio Production in 2017. He graduated with his bachelor’s degree in September of 2019 and went back for his master’s degree the same month for Entertainment Business. He is on track to graduate Full Sail again in Fall of 2020. To get more music out to his fans and build his brand, Reiko is currently working on a project. The project set to release in the summer of 2020, is titled "DreamLion." The project is showing off more of Reiko's lyrical skills as he raps about both the beautiful and ugly sides of chasing his dreams. Reiko has gotten over the fear of putting his own voice out to the world and has gained close to 100,000 streams on Spotify, was placed on Clout Indie, Top 50 Indie and Hip Hop Gen Spotify playlists and has reached over 700k streams on SoundCloud.
