Pawtucket
Pmpasto is a DJ, dancer, and cultural storyteller emerging from Pawtucket, Rhode Island. Rooted in rhythm from a young age, he has spent over a decade crafting immersive soundscapes that blend movement and emotion. His sets transcend genre—fusing Hip-Hop, Bachata, Salsa, Urban Kiz, and Kizomba with global influences like Baile Funk, Amapiano, Afro Beats, Deep House, Ambient, and Ghetto—to create dynamic, soul-stirring experiences grounded in his dance heritage. Beyond the booth, Pmpasto holds sacred space as a facilitator of Mayan indigenous practices. He leads Cacao ceremonies and Ecstatic Dance events that cultivate collective healing, connection, and presence. As a member of the BAE collective, he champions creativity, empowerment, and holistic well-being through the arts. Within YinYang Kiz, he furthers cultural education and community-building through dance, sharing the pulse of Kizomba, Urban Kiz, and Tarraxinha with intention and heart.
