German and english Lyrics (below): Diese Tage bin ich Sumpf, bin Berg und Tal, bin tief, bin steil, bin stumm und taub und mein Wort verliert sich an mir. Erdrutsch ist und das Kraftjahr vorbei. Nebelwände ziehen durch, bis ich dunkel und blind den Boden berühre. Und immer noch ist Widerstand. Wie soll sich der Panzer lösen, wenn die Sonne nicht durchdringt, wenn Wiesengrün nicht in mich strömt und Wasser mich nicht stillt? Wer soll diese Kür vollenden, wenn die Vision verloren geht und die Kraft sich wendet? Wohin reißt mich der Krieg? Magere Jahre am Atemgrund. Wolken bin ich, Abgrund und Meer, Dämonen und Engel steigen, mein Licht verblasst und strahlt. Jahre laufen durch mich. Im Kreis gefangen mich umrunden. In mir wacht eine auf, deren Tanz noch unverbraucht, unschuldig und laut. Hier, dieser Vogel ist meiner und seine Spannkraft bin ich. Ich schwelle ihm Flügel, ich male ihn bunt und werfe ihm den Flug zu, lasse ihn aus Flammen steigen, aus stillem Warten. Hinterm dem dunklen Horizont ist die Sonne! Die Sonnenstunde klärt und das Nachtschiff legt an. Das Schweigmeer gibt mich frei in ein neues Zeitmaß.
