mohamed Morris Kamara (born 7 November), better known by his stage name Morris D Violator (sometimes stylised as Morrisy/ Ris),[3]is a sierra leonean recording artist, songwriter,Dancer and an Actor. He started his musical career at age 15.In 2012 he signed a record deal with Janneh.'s imprint Visual Arts Media. He rose to prominence in 2013 with the release of the song “Violator" from his debut studio album,Violator (2013). “You Ex", “You Wase", Makura Baby, “Almalon",and “Forgive and Forget" were also released as singles from the Violator album.the album incorporates elements of R&B, dancehall,hip hop and reggae. the album was produced by his long time friend Wilbert Wisdom,who is one of sierra leone youngest renowned and talented producer. Morris D violator's contribution to the sierra leone Music Industry has earned him several achievements, including one SLEDU National Music awards(best newcomer), Two LAKE National Music Awards(best newcomer and best RnB artist), a MADRUGA FBC best male artist of the year,two SLCAF Awards (fastest growing Artist and artist of the years), In addition to his solo work, Morris D Violator has collaborated with several artists and was featured on the hits “murderer" (with Yok 7), “expensive chick" (with King Boss La), “omineh" (with Miss porsch), “Go" (with papayzua), “Mama" (with markmuday), “Finally" (with rahim de wizard ) and “mammy water" (with cool jay). In 2014, Morris D violator began recording his second studio album Man of the year. in early 2015, he released “Boogie Down" as the album's lead single.[14] The song earned Morris D Violator a Best male Artist award at the Diaspora Focus Awards 2015, and boogie down was a major hit song across sierra leone and the diasporas .and in late 2015 Morris D Violator released another single from the Man of the year album “E Nor Do Now?”.the song featured the queen of sierra leone hip hop /rap music Star Zee."E Nor Do"?became a hit Slang(question) in sierra leone and beyond.Morris D violator is Presently in the studio working on the man of the year album.
