Premiere: Okzharp 'Incline Disconnect' by Mixmag

Born out of a 127 bpm Gqom-influenced soundtrack created for a short film, 'Outside the Ride' sees Okzharp moving forward with a new amalgam of speedy music that explores a chimera of South African Gqom, turn-of-the-century techstep and footwork. On 'Incline Disconnect', acidic leads slither against tense, trance-inducing synth swirls. Frayed, off-kilter drums and fierce 808 accents interlock in an unlikely, seductive soundsystem killer.
