Homily Homily Where did you come from Angel, You seem to turn to walk away you're silent fearing. And how is it possible for you to live like that, you're sly undressing, like a fascinating Grail. Time to go, loathe to stay and this house just ain't a home when your love is not your own. Heavy hangs the head clothed in the Thorn Don't let it tire you out, don't let it tie you down We were told to release, but, we never set sail and I know you're not alone. We were told to release, but, we never set sail and I know your alone.

blown away actually, really good music you have here. great to listen to it.

This is like the vibe from "We Suck Young Blood" x100, but bathed in a thick syrup of remorse and regret... the way the vocals fit over the chord progression is captivating. And the static buzz of the overly distorted guitars almost has the lulling effect of white noise, perfectly complimenting the sombre musicality... in other words... great shit.

Homily is down my spine since i first heard it and it forces its way up to my brain from the moment the Wolf's voice emerges until it fades off. Every time. The thrills are great, my friend, the best. Thank you for the gift.

Tender. Awesome lyrically too.

I listened to this and smiled at the delicate and melodic vocal and piano combination .. Quite excellent but knew the Literate Wolf would add something to ensure I would not get too comfortable with what is a fantastic melody .. A great song my friend ...

hard to find space here... guess that's what happens when i let five days go by before commenting. i love what you can do with such a simple piano line. i love the sweet, sad chords you chose, but the real treat comes in the surrounding and permeating chaos of distorted ambience and menacing drums. those drums really snuck up on me the first time, until i suddenly thought, "wait, those weren't there before, were they?" and then had to listen again. very nicely done, but no surprise there :)

awesome track man .. vocal's cool.

That crunchy bass reminds me of Pluto (an early Bjork single), the distorted metallic cymbal scraping sounds something the Esbjorn Svensson Trio did a lot of, and your vocals like Radiohead. This is a stunning piece of music, what a powerful introduction to the legend that is Literate Wolves.
