Assassin Assassin Born in a race to fall in a race to God, in a face that's never going to satisfy you. You're standing way above you better toe the line, you've got to face that time is an irrelevant love And though you're burning inside, you never burned alive, you can't embrace the spine of this daily life. And any sign of trespass or remorse would make an Assassin of me, an assassin that breeds. Toe The Line. Is this how it ends for us all, with a blade in my hand and a blade at your throat. And woman I stayed with you for a long time and I've stayed away and now that I'm failing you for the last time, I just want to be left alone.

Comment by GELOW FOSTER

excellent ;))

Comment by KILL MIDGET

absolutely gorgeous piece. love the way it breaks free just after 1 minute in and when that gives way....the layered vocals over that eerie organ part.....stunning track

Comment by kenetik

wow this is amazing, love it . . . don't let Thom Yorke hear this he might just totally rip you of for their next project:))

Comment by Hugh Doolan

Real roller-coaster track fuelled by the passion for what you're doing - the rise, crescendo and fall in this sonic fairground. The last section evokes a raucous tavern where the listener can reflect (or sing along) with the artist, on what's gone before.. stellar track dude. Love that wobbly 80's sounding bass :)

Comment by Gary Sunshine

One of my favorite tracks I've heard on SC, hard cool dark w/loads of dissonance and edge and dreaminess.

Comment by HeavyCrude

Very original sound.

Comment by RumourControl

Wow....the track progressed to a place I didnt think it would. A very pleasant surprise....good job on the heavy bass and clear drum bass. I love the production here....so much chaos in such a natural order....

Comment by Carolyn Burnette

@literate_wolves: wow...odd and yet wonderfully fits...what an interesting transition... this is good :))

Exactly the injection in my veins that today needed. I love you wolves. Your who I want to be musically.

Comment by Neil Payton

You know I usually need a few listens to comment but this is my second pass and there is so much to adore about this musical masterpiece .. Your quiet summer break clearly had no adverse effects on the quality of your musical offerings .. I hope my summer break has had a similar effect ..

Comment by Neil Payton

I have finally awoken from my summer of musical avoidence and what a magnificent song to raise me from my slumber .. Absolutely love this and my apologies for taking too long to listen and comment on this and Homily but I should now be back with all musical guns blazing ..

I've just had to listen to this 3 times to fully absorb what I hear, as on the first and second listen it felt like I had been repeatedly hit in the jaw by an amalgamation of different sounds and vibes. This is greatness.

It's been way too long for me not to have my Wolves fix. Starting off this track with the accordion was outstanding. Feeling much better now, but I think I need more. It's been WAY too long.

Comment by Lilac lilac

These drums. This beat. I like feeling kicked in the brain, in the best possible way.

Gaaahhhh you are too good at this. Can I have some of that, that talent and passion? Just borrow it like a cup of sugar?
