An Eye For An Eye This is the first and only take, I started strumming the chords and the boys joined in and nailed it. Dave Toolan is playing the bass for a change, Leon Carter is playing guitar, Jonny Rabbs is playing harmonica,Jim Sanders is on the drums and I'm singing. Original artwork by my good old friend Adam Glover. ~ Lyrics An eye for an eye A tooth for tooth A life for lie but here’s the truth You get what you give And you’ll reap what you sow So live and let live It’s time to let go By taking revenge you reload the gun that murdered your father and will murder your son How do you like it? This merry-go-round Every generation fresh blood on the ground Jerusalem The City of Peace Violent devotion never to cease while the scriptures are clear there’s one Golden Rule Treat your neighbours as you’d have them treat you Forgive Israel Forgive Palestine I’ll forgive yours and you forgive mine If you want to be safe don’t intimidate Hate begets hate and grace begets grace Mitzvah goreret Mitzvah ~

Very smooth & psychedelic, it has so much soul, I can imagine Otis Reading singing. Your voice is awesome & soulful.

Such a vibe and the melody of the vocals is so nice with a wistful nostalgic kind of vibe to it. Very on point performance all around, really dug it

you nailed the issue from my point of view. "treat your brother as yourself" is in the bible and the koran so what gives with the endless senseless killing in "god's name"..what god are they referring to??...
