XI - October 2025 by JoeyRups

Autumn is always a time to slow down and reflect. Probably that is why I ended up making this a very introspective and emotional XI episode. October last year turned out to be the catalyst for everything that happened to me in the past 12 months and got me to where I am and who I am as a person today. It is weird listening back to last year's episode, because it transports me right back to the feelings and emotions of that time. It is also comforting to realise that even though I ended up going through one of the roughest patches I have experienced and at the time it all seemed meaningless and hopeless, in the end it all turned out alright. And life is funny like that. I am learning more and more to accept the things that are not in our control and to flow with the waves instead of swimming against them. To embrace the adventure in the uncertainty that lies ahead of us and to accept and love myself (that last one is the hardest). Having so many unique, amazing and loving people in my life that support me all the way, I can't help but feel super privileged. I am so incredibly proud to see all of you tuning in every month and to hear and read your lovely messages; I can't say this enough but it really means everything to me.
