Gun men, bombing, mobs... Not even the police officers knew what was going on. “Where do you want us to go?” a scared Kim Shephard asked one, “I honestly don’t know, just walk.” On April 15th 2013 the 117th Boston Marathon was bombed twice four hours and ten minutes into the 26.2 mile race. It started out as a perfect day watching her dad run for the 8th time. But now it’s something that haunts her and is still hard to talk about. She sat down with me to once again tell her story of that dark April Monday.
